Monday, July 27: Mike’s & Yoga! Family Tracksuits

Good day everybody it’s Monday the last week of July 2026. I spent part of the day correct finishing up yesterday‘s block posting cause I just didn’t feel like dealing with it plus, it was very very long and had lots of pictures. Today I got an order food into Mike’s and it showed up on time. Mike also ordered something as well to hold them over till his Social Security check comes in August 3. He doesn’t get his August food stamps till the 10th or 11 August. His July food stamps were stolen anyhow Mike and I did go out for a short walk and just we were out there. There are some kind of cloudburst that came in. There was also some blue sky, but it had a sudden pouring rain so he got inside. Mike’s laundry was done by the due to replaces me on the weekends. Today, I got to put down a deposit for the Mexico trip that’s in the middle of February. The Choir performance for America 250 is confirmed just today. It’s not 3:21 PM. I have to start getting photos in this blog and getting ready for yoga. Mary tells me that her legs feeling better after the massage she had today which was good. Well, I signed out the Mike’s and Loan behold has started raining again. The two times I went outside after I showedl up to work. It starts raining. Anyhow, Shalice is subbing for byron today that had to be a last-minute change because as the last night byron was teaching the class. Hopefully I’m not gonna get too wet. Anyhow, I didn’t get too wet. The rain pretty much stopped and I went to class there was about 10 minutes there and it was a good temperature wasn’t bad at all. How we hung out we paid our $800 deposit to go to the trip and then we walk back to the Dorchester and I went to my MONDAY Night Beginners meeting.

Monday, July 13: back to Work. Yoga

Today I got up unusually early cause I just wanted to sit for a while put my phone before I got to work. I got caught up and ended up being late anyway, but I got the Mike’s and it was a nice quiet day to start the week. I was thankful for that. Took out the trash shot. The shit with Mike did some catching up. That was good. I then ordered some stuff from Amazon and it came very quickly. It got it Mike at 12:30 PM. I got a whole bunch of packet and and Pepsi‘s and poppy drinks. Also got bananas and blueberries. It’s a nice day and it’s supposed to get warmer as the week gets along. Lindsay Graham died yesterday and the Internet‘s been arguing back-and-forth about his legacy. He really sold his soul of Trump. That’s for sure after he said Trump was a racist bigot. That’s his legacy to me. Anyhow enough for him. Mitch McConnell’s alive and so is Donald Trump so we have that. Anyway, it’s 3:44 PM. I’m heading towards Hot Yoga today. Well, Byron taught the 4 PM class. It’s a bit of a struggle today. I felt a little off-balance, but the class itself was fine. Maryann and I got a nice area towards the left front of the studio. Byron helped Mary  with her knee. That was very nice of them. It’s now 6:16 PM and I just got dressed and listening to Cooper’s choice of music which is Fleetwood Mac today. Well, I have my MONDAY Night Beginners meeting, which I haven’t attended in five weeks. it’s pretty sunny today and it’s gonna get a lot hotter as the week goes long not 100° but it’s gonna hit the 90s soon enough. I went to my MONDAY Night Beginners meeting and it was. They talked about differences and similarities and how we should look at similarities and not differences. Pretty well attended for sure. There are no Monday nights and mimosas for the first time in a while. I guess Dan’s away on a vacation or took the day off. The meeting is over now and I tried to call Mary, but I think she took a cat nap. We’re just gonna do takeout instead, but first time to wake up. Mary and I watched two episodes of Law and order. The second one was about a family fight about some text that was found in Poland by one of the main characters father in Poland. The non-religious cousin paid somebody to steal it from the church and rip it up to upset his brother so they could sell the synagogue for about 15 million. Turned out the book was just a book bought at the bookstore Mary and I even talked about whether Judaism is a race and controversial subjects like that. Very interesting conversation.

Friday, July 10: Alice’s Breakfast. Dave’s Boat

Good morning. Today I set the alarm for 9 AM to get up. We got out of bed around 9:15 AM this morning, which is early for us on this vacation. Mary wanted some coffee because we were almost out of our stock coffee. So I went to Guapo‘s coffee, which is a three minute drive and a 10 minute walk outside of the drive and there was a nice long line for the coffee shop. I sure like four people gotten for online just before I did, but it’s now 941 and I’m still waiting in this line. Successfully got the coffee but did do a little bit of spillage in the car so I had to clean up the car. We then had Alice’s Challah bread. It was really good. I I enjoyed very much. Alice said call Dave to see if we could ride on his boat. Dave was eating breakfast but I don’t think Dave’s up for he just cleaned his slip and taking out a boat is a whole procedure. One of the many reasons I don’t buy a boat beside the fact, I’m on a civil service salary and don’t own a condo other than that… turned out that Dave and Deb were up for riding the boat and they called us to see if we were up for riding with them so we decided to ride with them. That was fun. I never wrote in his boat and it was good to get that done. We took the boat all the way up to Bram Beach yacht club, a.k.a. yacht yacht land and we had a nice time. We were pretty slow the whole time cause we’re really close to Marina’s and we had to do low wake. The only big wakes were caused by bigger boats and jet skis. The sun was out. It was nice. After that, we decided to go out and neat lunch the place we were going to Dave and Debbie recommended was closed due to maintenance. Ended up going to the the dockside diner. Mary and I have been there for breakfast a couple of times in the last two years. It was a really nice place. There was nobody there so we just grab a quick lunch. I had soup and half of Alice’s sandwich which was pretty delightful actually. We asked him if we could order breakfast and pick it up and yes that’s what we’re gonna do pick it up from there tomorrow morning cause we’re gonna get up very early so we can try to beat traffic is the best we could. Alice is going to A Service. She’s leaving here around 5:30 PM in Mary and I are going to eat shower and maybe take a walk before dinner. Well we got a really nice sunset here tonight. Looks like it’s not gonna rain at all. In fact it looks like it’s gonna be soft wispy clouds not the kind of clouds that that might cause rain. It’s a nice day to sit and look at the sun and take a walk. I think we’ll do both. Before that, we threw a bunch of more clothes in the washer and it was a good idea cause it’s mostly towels. Nice day to end our week at the shore. Really can’t complain we only had two days that were somewhat a little bit drizzly but no real heavy duty all day rain kind of crap which was really fortunate because the weather forecast was not looking promising. We were looking at it earlier. we sat and I didn’t read much but I did look at some TikTok videos. Well it turned out I got home and then we just chilled out and then Alice called in some dinner from Uber eats and we ordered fish tacos. Weren’t they honey tuna tacos and we got four of them and they got delivered to a two and serve too, but I had a picture and the guy gave it to us and they were very delicious tacos also also ordered some ice cream. It was really nice of her to treat us to dinner. And Alice gave Mary her picture of the view outside our lovely window, which is really nice. It’s now 1055. We pretty much are packed and ready to go for early tomorrow morning. Here comes a wrap up under there for 5 week odyssey in vacation to San Diego, Alaska, back to San Diego, then to Long Beach Island. It’s been quite a trip and it’s been really fun. I had some digestive struggles, but nothing really bad. Mary has her knee, but she’s gonna work on that.
