The Wackiest Baseball Play Ever!!

OK to summarize, the Pittsburgh pirates were playing the Chicago Cubs at Pittsburgh three days ago. There were two outs and a  an on second. 
The batter grounds a third baseman and the third baseman throws it off-line. The first baseman catches the ball and instead of just tagging the bag he chases the runner towards home plate. The runner skips back to home plate as far as possible. Meanwhile the guy on 
 second is coming around third and slide in safely. Mind you if they get the guy who ground it out by doing a first force at first base then the run doesn’t count anyway. The problem was there was nobody
covering first base. The guy was safe and the throw was thrown away and the guy went to second. The epilogue of the story is that the

 next battle hit a blue shingle so they got two runs which I shouldn’t had. It was a boneheaded played by the first baseman

Memorial day 2021: IHOP the Everglades & Then Miami Beach

We woke up nice and early this morning and quickly got a shower

 and we drove to the IHOP right here Larry’s house. We got there at a good time and I have a stack of pancakes and eggs are served


 in a little plastic containers instead of those regular style which is good for a pandemic. The dude across the way had a American flag shirt with the  Constitution scribbled on it. Ahhhh. 

 Welcome to Florida. Anyhow we started on 75 and we’re switching drivers so I’ll be driving  as of about 10:15 AM. This gas station has one morning toilet and there was a 20 minute line to get into the toilet. Looks 

 ike a decent clean gas station but they don’t know how to run plumbing too well I’m afraid so we killed 20 

 minutes. It’s 11:44 AM and we are heading towards Everglades city after seeing big cypress wildlife area. We 

 rove through Everglades city. After we circled around and went towards the  place for Larry and Veronica  are going to reserve their kayak. We went there there’s nobody there but he 


 ound out that he would be there around 12:45 PM. Went back there and he 

 et us to a area we can talk all. They went off and I took the car down to 

 verglades city and hung out there for a while. I took a lot of pictures video 

 tape etc. It was really hot until the clouds rolled in around 3:15 PM. I then talked on the phone for a bit and

 chilled out at the Circle K. They had a diet Pepsi which every else has, and

 they had chips and a fruit drink. I felt I needed that. Also they allowed me to use the

 public bathroom. I then returned back to the lake area where they werekayaking. I got there at 4 PM and we’re going

 eature alligator crispy which are an appetizer instead of chicken nuggets alligator nuggets. I’m gonna try alligator for the first time. 

 s a side-note, I made a separate blog entry about the nutty baseball player that happened on Thursday of last week. You should really watch 

it!!! It’s  hilarious. One of my favorite YouTube site you’re in a tree, had a good

explanation of it and a few laughs at the Pirates expense. The dude is from Pittsburgh

. Well we arrived in Miami pretty smoothly and stayed at The same 

 place as last January, Odyssey suites motel. We dropped our things off and then I 

 ent to the Walgreens, then we walked around the area and we’re going to go to this place Larry likes. It’s now 8:23 PM. Well, we never found the place or it was too crowded I don’t remember. We 



 nded up walking around South Beach for a while. It was packed with

 people partying since last Friday when this urban festival started 
on South Beach. There was people walking around half naked there. It was unbelievable. Anyhow we walked 

 round and I bought a few juices and couldn’t find any M super coffee‘s.

 did in 1970s disco era. Anyhow we walked and walked and we finally got home around 10 PM. I was so tired. I didn’t realize how 

tired that I laid on the bed and just passed out for almost a half hour. Around 10:38 PM I made a phone call and went over some stuff. I’ve been rolled right back to sleep. This 

 ed the glory of it it was so comfortable. It was a nice day long as I slather on the sunscreen I’m safe but you have to have

 sunscreen on hand or you burn like a leaf in a leaf pile in the middle 

 f fall in Pennsylvania. There is quite a visual site seeing all the sun and the Dayglow

 buildings in the art deco buildings. There’s a whole bunch of nakedness

 going on. It was almost like what you see in Brazil not quite as ridiculous but 

 retty damn close. Was not for the sensitive and easily disturbed crowd for sure. Like I said it was an urban thing but it doesn’t matter people like to flaunt their shit out here. Again the hotels perfect for either two couples or three people a couple has one room and the third wheel has the other room they do have to share a bathroom but for a couple days it’s not too bad at all. It’s very clean and you just enter without a front desk. That’s what makes it so unique they give you a code and then you just come in. There was a homeless dude sitting in just chilling at the front. I guess somebody left the door open. But he wasn’t threatening and again I passed out. I also talked on the phone which I’m really good at by the way

Sunday, May 30: A Trip to the Beach & Then Early Seafood Dinner

Well after staying up way late last night I got up around

 11 o’clock. I had some breakfast and then we headed to the beach around 1245. 12:45 PM. It wasn’t too bad is a lot more crowded than it was the last few week. A lot more pregnant women and kids. We hang out at the beach for a couple hours. We got home a little after 3 PM and we hung out for a little bit. I took a 
Shower & cleaned off. Watch a little bit of law and order. Larry wanted to go to this Fishhouse place by  the time it opens so we wouldn’t have to wait to eat. So we went there 
expecting would be open at four like he said but it doesn’t open till 5 PM so we wanted around a little bit We went to a nature preserve for a moment and then parked at the parking lot. 

 o far there are two sets of senior sitting down and one that just pulled up here we’re like the youngest people here. This seems to be a seniors magnet for food. Larry says
it’s the best food around. I’ve never gone to a restaurant this early. I’ve never done this senior activity before. I am approaching 6 I am in Florida but it’s a 

 ittle bit on the nose. We’ll see how good this food really is it’s seafood so  ’m  ind of shy about seafood for some reason I only eat

 a good restaurants or seafood not takeout. Oh yes Facebook still out as usual.
One thing I’ve noticed right here they have a lot of lawyer  and this drug 

 ommercial for both stocks rebel sis and some other bullshit drugs. so we watch some law and order reruns from the beginning original series with an actor Mr. Wolbach who recently died several years ago. We’re getting up very early tomorrow to go towards the Everglades. We’re gonna go to bed at 11 so we can get up nice and early and leave the house by eight
