Tuesday, June 16: A Trip to LBI

I woke up this morning not feeling up for work at all. I talked to Pat and he said he was up for going somewhere and walk the dog. We then decided to walk on over to his car and head out to New Jersey. After looking around the maps we decided to go to

ong Beach Island. I haven’t been there since last July when my brother was

arried there. That’s almost a year ago. The ride went pretty smoothly. We listen to tunes from my phone and kept it

olling along.  I noticed I have a lot of Beatles tunes. Those Seem to pop up all the time. Anyway

we got down to the island in first went to ramp beach to see if we could find a dog park.

hey did have a dog park but you need to go to the township and get some kind of card

o be able to get in the dog park. I guess it’s for residence and eight maybe vacationers

we are staying for a while. seem to pop up all the time. Anyway we got down

to the island first went to ramp beach to see if we could find a dog park. They did have a

og park but you needed to go to the township and get some kind of card to be able to get in the dog park. I guess it’s for

esidents and I may be vacationers with her staying for a while.Anyway, we ended up going up to

arnegat light state park and it was a beautiful day to see the lighthouse. It was nice and breezy and not humid at all just nice!!
We took a walk around the lighthouse. Pat was really surprised that I walked up the lighthouse. There is no elevator

n the lighthouse. A person has to climb up the whole lighthouse by foot

and it’s really not coronavirus friendly or COVID-19 friendly since people

re packed together climbing up the steps. That lighthouse will be open probably till

ext year. We were looking for a vegan restaurant and there was one on beach

aven which is a half hour from the lighthouse so we decided to look elsewhere.

There was one on route 70 but we decided we would wait and that’s what

e did. He didn’t drop it off to Center city so I can take pictures of boarded up

uildings and document social unrest in the air of COVID-19. The Supreme Court  ruled yesterday that he’s gay,

lesbian and transgender  Citizens of the USA  cannot be fired just because they’re gay or transgendered. Only 21 states have laws expressly prohibiting  Discrimination for gays and transgender people.  It was a 63 decision written by Neil Gorsuch one of trumps appointees in fact up by John Roberts the closest thing to a moderate judge we have left. The right wing activists that run the party and Trump space are completely beside themselves in anger. Oh well people of rights get over it.
