Thursday, August 20: Slow Day. Yoga & Choir

Hello everyone out there in TV Land today is Thursday and after being up late, I realize going to a 7 AM meeting with just leave me completely exhausted for the rest of the day so I blew it off because I needed that extra hour of sleep. Yes, I’m tired, but I would’ve been completely exhausted if I gotten up at 6:30 and tried to function. Anyhow, I got the Mike’s did a little bit of cleaning and worked on getting his heart patch on. I did a load of laundry for him today instead of waiting till tomorrow. Tonight, I have Yoga plus Choir to Choir rehearsals today and tomorrow and then the show is supposed to be Saturday where we were at 12:30. I know I reported this before, but goes without saying also there was something revealed yesterday within the family. It was interesting. Anyhow, it’s been hard for me to motivate to do much of anything except the bare minimum so it’s also getting very humid. It had rained today when Mike and I took a walk but it’s sort of spitting rain it stops and then it will start randomly. It’s now 3 o’clock, trying to get ready for class. 12 years ago today I went to Williamsport Pennsylvania to watch the Little League World Series. Mo’ne Davis was the big star of our local Little League team in Philadelphia. Very strange time I will just say.. well, it’s 3:45 PM. I’m almost at the studio. I left a little early from Mike so I could pick up a Gatorade to CVS and I completely forgot about it so hopefully they have Gatorade at the studio that’s not diet. Anyway, the class today was Shalice was really. small We talked to Linda and Linda likes a smaller classes. Sometimes I like the smaller classes too. So like a big class every so often it’s just completely different energy going on. The class today everyone was really in sync with each other. I felt that. Well, after class there was a monsoon and the Sky  opened up. So we waited it out and we were very fortunate. The rain stopped and we didn’t get soaked getting back to the Dorchester. And I felt very fortunate there. We then took a quick 10 minute nap and I went off to choir practice. It was a very small group of people today. It was very challenging for me because a lot of stuff we were singing a cappella and I really had to read my music more than usual. Anyhow, it went pretty fast actually, but my throat is definitely tired. I felt that Mary ordered some food and I’m gonna go pick it up now. It’s now 9:45 AM.

Friday, July 24: Sunny! Mike’s, & Yoga

Well this morning I woke up after having a weird dream that I was in a meeting and people were singing a song. I didn’t like it and I was very upset by it. I did have some struggle sleeping during the night but towards the end I slept pretty heavily and good. I then walked to Mike’s. Got there around 8:45 AM. Did a little bit of sweeping and then talked to Mike for a bit. The infusion nurse came in after a mixup with which Mike got upset at the operator at Penn Medicine. Their phone system is really funky. The infusion nurse came in was very nice and talked to Mike and listened to him and he felt a lot better. The regular nurse came with someone else that was trailing her just like the one that was trailing Nichole. I don’t think we’ll be seeing Nicole for a while. Anyway, after that, I did some research on proceedings which was a little overwhelming, even though I talked to someone on the phone. Next thing you know it it was time to leave for yoga class after I just killed time. I did manage to get cold water from the vendor and did some quick shopping for Mike. Also got money from the laundromat so he could do laundry with the guy this weekend. It’s now 3:49 PM it’s time for me to get the classes as I approach 15th and Sansom. What the big news and sports is LeBron James signed on with the Philadelphia 76ersWhich theory will put the Sixers as one of the favorites to win the NBA championship but he is 42 years old and indeed really crippled at this point but if they can both remain healthy well who knows. Well Katelynn taught today’s 4 o’clock classes about 10 of us into class. It was a small but mighty Group. I did OK Mary unfortunately twisted her knee a little bit today and she’s not been feeling real great but she hung in in there in class.
