Friday, August 7: Flying to Healdsburg CA

Good day everyone out there. Mary and I got up around 6:20 AM. Quickly got dressed and did last-minute packing and eating. I did have forget the iced tea. We caught an Uber and Mary talked to the Uber driver for a while. She has a son in the military in England and she moved from DC and comment on Kensington. Another matters. We went to the airport and used touchless screening and they just took our picture and it worked very well and we priest through the airport. It was probably the fastest I ever got through TSA. It’s now 8:00 AM and we see terminal C 24. Well, we just entered the world of airline cluster fuck just now. First, they changed our terminal from terminal C to terminal B 10. Then we go there and the flight just got delayed  6️⃣ hours going to Phoenix, which is our connecting flight to Santa Rosa. Now I’m in line at the Customer Service service desk gonna try to got a new flight. We might have to stay overnight at the airport. Well, Owen behold Maryann I thought let’s check San Francisco out and we checked it and we were able to get a flight that originally left at 11:30 AM this morning but it’s been delayed to 1:30 PM fortunately the layover was long enough that we should make our connecting flight which boards at 5:17 PM because the plane supposed to arrive at Los Angeles by 4:12 PM we just made a reservation from the bus from San Francisco to Santa Rosa so this should be an interesting trip but at least we get out of Philadelphia on the same day so that was a modern miracle. the guy at the counter was very competent and that was helpful. Well, now it’s 1239 and supposedly this flight‘s gonna start boarding at 11 minutes. Mary managed to get our sweet change so we could sit next to each other on the flight and if we want the same thing from LA to San Francisco we have to ask the counter lady as well. So far it’s still leaving still departing at 1:30 PM, which would give us an hour to get to our connecting flight. It’s a 3:41 PM. We literally just landed on the tarmac at LAX a.k.a. Los Angeles International Airport. We are at gate 41 terminal four and we have to go to gate 151 which is supposedly a 10 minute walk but we get something to eat at this airport. We’ll have to see how long it takes for people to get off the damn plane.
