Sunday, August 9: Leaving Healdsburg, Flying to Philly

Good day everybody. Today Mary and I woke up at the Fairview Motel and walked over to the bakery. I forgot the name of it but we weren’t there and it was very delicious. We got a stuffed oatmeal pastry and a thumbprint piece of pastry that Mary really wanted to get. Within waited for an Uber because it was too long of a walk. We really enjoyed that place. We then took the Uber to the plank café with all our bags and stuff and went to the Plane café. They ran out of tortillas so we couldn’t order the same thing that we got before. We went there and it was much less crowded than it was yesterday. After we chow down we quickly got going and walked to Joe and Shelley‘s place. We hung out there for a while. We saw Joe’s daughters who was pregnant and due in October. Anyhow, we hung out at Joe and Charles for a while and mellow it out. Then we called Uber and the Uber took 20 minutes to get a driver then the driver showed up 11 minutes later. Then there was a 15 minute ride to the airport. We got to the airport with 10 minutes left until they started boarding. The TSA was so slow there they didn’t have touchless and there was one couple that had like six bags and thank God they went through we would’ve been up a creek. We then got to TSA. I got picked for them to check out my shoes for any chemicals and Mary got her bag picked because of the Pepto-Bismol, which was very weird, but it was a weird place this little Santa Rosa airport. Then we go on the tarmac and it’s hard to tell where to go so we found out we have to. Mary’s bag had to be left somewhere and we’re supposed to ask them where where to pick it up when we arrive in Phoenix. Very kinky little Plane couldn’t even fit my bag in the overhead so I stuffed my bag underneath unfortunately it passed. It’s an hour and a half flight on this little dinky airplane. We do have about three hour layover so we should be OK in that department. Oh, this, Rinky didn’t airplane has no working charger. It’s there, but it doesn’t work. My phone will die during this flight to Phoenix. We have three hours in Phoenix though.
