Tuesday, December 20:Yoga in the AM. Presby in the PM

Good morning everybody. Today I get to come in to Mike’s place

at work at 11 o’clock because he’s having a colonoscopy. I decided that I would go to a morning yoga class. I’m thinking

of going to 6 AM class but the extra sleep is more important. So

I went to the 9 o’clock class. There was four of us there. Three guys

and a yoga teacher I’ve never met before. Who’s been at the Hot Yoga Philadelphia

for 10 years. She was out because she just had a second kid and the only reason I knew that

is I asked her if she was a yoga teacher. She was sitting next to me after class I could tell she was a teacher just because she did all

her moves with precision.  She was really in good shape like I expect the yoga instructor debate. Anyhow, after class I took my time shower and then got to

Mike’s on time at 11 o’clock. I also talked on the phone and cleared up misunderstandings. It’s now 432. I am in the hospital waiting room doing my thing. Waiting
for Mike
to come out. I postponed the ride that was scheduled at 4:30 PM and changed it to 5:30 PM because they took my can very late at that half hour late and I found out the hard way that I’m not allowed to talk in the waiting

room so it’s just me and this bald lady Anna with a walker sitting in the

waiting room. Thank God I have my headphones or I would go a little

nuts sitting here waiting. Anyhow, I have to decide whether I

go to different yoga studio tomorrow or not. I also bought my plane ticket to

Florida leaving on the 25th and coming back on Monday. Larry wanted to come. I scheduled

a new ride for 5:30 PM. I set an alarm for 5:15 or so. Just in case they still have them in

there. We are really getting winter now!!! A huge weather system is spreading across the

Midwest and East will cause blizzards in the northern Midwest and

bring icing here because we may get rain on Thursday or Friday but then the

temperature will drop big-time on Friday. Well it’s 6:09 PM and they still

haven’t brought Mike out and they said they wouldn’t 15 minutes and that was it 6 o’clock so

the ride supposed to come between
630 and 6:40 PM. They’re so slow around here. I guess you can’t rush colonoscopies but Lord!!! well they eventually finished

Mike he didn’t get out till almost 7 o’clock and I we got home at 7:45 PM and I’m just walking on 15th St. to catch the train at 8:00 PM. I got home and that was a good thing. And then ate some pasta relax and talk on the phone until I went to bed.

Thursday August 4: Caregiving Begins Day 1

Good morning. I got up around 8 o’clock in the morning here in Ardmore Pennsylvania. Covid really has messed up my sleeping
pattern other than that I’m OK so far Lynne is giving me last minute

instructions. Speaking of instructions the directions to this place and where to

park we’re all screwy. They had us park in a parking lot a block

away I think they’ve moved the surgery center since the pamphlet was given out. So

we got here a little late but they admitted her in the peanut 🥜 gallery

has been speaking. I didn’t sleep very well again hopefully I can catch one of my world famous naps so I

don’t feel like crap all day. It’s going to be 98° today it is now 10:11 AM.
Well, we did a lot of  waiting. The anesthesiologist nurse just came by and answered a
lot of questions. Because I didn’t sleep so well I had a bit of nausea before she had her operation. They finally took her away to be operated

on around noon. And they started Dee the operation around 130 and they just finished around 3:15 PM. I went to the lunch room between one and 230 and ate a big container of soup which was delicious. It looks big

but I ate the whole thing and it settled well in my stomach. I was very relieved for that. After lunch I went back to the waiting room and I talked

to Lynne‘s friend Ami and I just sat in an area the waiting room and I was able to just took my head back in catch a cat nap before the doctor came out and talk to me and showed me pictures of her operation. I neglected to

take pictures of the x-ray I should’ve but I was didn’t think of it. So 3:32 PM I’m just chilling

in this restroom pretty tired but hanging in there. Well I got to see Lynne around 5 PM. She’s trying to get some issue revive by putting immobilizer with the ice machine instead of what they put on her. I found out the little store I had lunch was closed but the cafeteria still open so I went there and I’m going to get something for Lynne. It’s now 5:24 PM thank God I took this little nap and that the food I ate settled. Operation was a success. It’s at 6:35 and I just picked up the car from the parking lot which was 28 bucks but there was nobody in there so that was good. I’ll be taking her home hopefully they pick out everything on her so she’s ready to go. Here’s the next phase of the caregiving starting now

Tuesday, June 30: Busy! PetSitting Picking-up Friend from Presbyterian Hospital

I got up child down some cereal and then took the L from Milburn station down to 46th St. to catch the 64. That bus came about 10 minutes late but I caught it and got me to PetSitting. The dogs didn’t make a
holy mess. It was the best that I I have dealt with since this pet city started. That was quite a relief. I kept the Wii we pads that were already
here and put them in the backyard let them walk around for a while and then fed him. Then got back to my place started work. My friend was @  the hospital for foot surgery. I’m supposed to

ick them up approximately 1030 or 11 AM. I’m getting updates via text message from Penn. I just did call and Presby is right near 40th St. so I was able to take the train here instead of spending

20 bucks on Uber!😜 well a representative from Penn called and told me exactly where to go. Fortunately it was at Penn Presby

which is right near 40th St., Station so I didn’t have to pay Uber to get there that would’ve cost at

least 12 to 15 bucks. Uber is ripping off people these days. You know

he COVID-19 everybody’s got to make a buck somehow I suppose. Mike called Lyft and we got back to

his place pretty smoothly and I enjoyed that. I had my computer

with me so I could instantly get back to work without any fuss or mats. I

started working on monitoring the end of the month reports. I don’t

hink I got a whole heck of a lot done because a lot of the reports weren’t in yet.

ut I know tomorrow Wednesday I’ll be really seeing a lot of them because

verybody waits to the last minute. It’s merely human nature. Meanwhile the COVID-19 he’s gotten worse in more than half the states  in the country. Pennsylvania is on uptick in city

Philadelphia. Philadelphia is not going to allow restaurants open indoors until August 1. My yoga studio called hot yoga Philadelphia I was going to

pen on July 6 but I doubt they’re going to since I don’t think I got a whole heck of a lot done because  a lot of the reports weren’t in yet. But I know tomorrow Wednesday I’ll be really seeing a lot

of them because everybody waits to the last minute. It’s merely human nature. Meanwhile the COVID-19 he’s gotten
rose in more than half the states in the country. Pennsylvania is on uptick in city Philadelphia. Philadelphia is not going to allow restaurants
open indoors until August 1. My yoga studio called hot yoga Philadelphia was going to open on July 6 but I doubt they’re going to since yoga studios
are similar

gyms that people are sweating in close proximity to each other and have

hanging rooms and bathrooms. Hot yoga Philadelphia was going to not allow people to use the showers after class but

hey’re going to allow people to go to the bathroom
very slowly. Also they were going to charge two dollars for mats and sitting making them free. That’s because they will have to scrub each
one after each class. Also the class sizes in the schedule has been reduced. They’re charging different rates for online and visit to studio  to buy the $30 increase for

he month if you auto renew and it’s $25 class if you do buy single class.

think I’m going to hold off till August see what’s going on. Well I was lucky I got

ride back to the PetSitting adventure after work. Pat was heading into

work so he diverted and drove me to Cedars Avenue. It does save me a bit of

time. That’s for sure. They’ve run out of wee wee pad so I have to

buy more but fortunately the dogs have been pretty decent the last 2 days.

fter that I then went home chilled out and ate. It wasn’t a bad day at all.
