Sunday, May 4: Esak’s 84 Asanas, Mom, Prep

This morning we got up at 8:30 AM. Mary had a little breakfast. I didn’t have any breakfast because I have my prep for my colonoscopy starting today

at 4:00 PM. Actually it starts today because I’m not supposed to eat anything and just drink clear liquids all day long. Period anyway Mary and I went

to Esak Garcia‘s 84 Austin in his class which went from 10 to 12 PM that was really intense. We went really fast through a bunch of postures and instruction. By

the time we finished, we were pretty damn exhausted. Went back to Mary’s and then I probably called an Uber back to Millbourne where I picked up a

package for Pat and changed into a shirt since the other shirt kind of smelled. I then walked to 69th St. terminal to catch the 111 bus

which was 10 minutes late. I arrived here around 2:40 and I got to mom’s around 2:50 PM. I got to my mom‘s and she’s in good spirits, She was a little bit too

tired to get up and walk to our favorite little room in there. So we talked for a little bit. She liked David’s revolving pictures. She was tired and so was I Called

Lyft and they had a bunch of canceled two cancellations before someonepicked me up and I should get at Mary somewhere between 415 and 4:30 PM. I’m really gonna be bushwhacked. Well, I got the Mary and I was pretty tired. I took the Dulcolax pills and then mix the Gatorade in the MiraLAX together. I did my five to 6 o’clock drinking. We did watch a movie called absolute power with Clint Eastwood.

Saturday, May 3: Esak’s Classes

This morning we decided to get up and get going at 8:30 AM. We could have a nice breakfast before the 11 o’clock class with Isa Garcia

this morning first class pretty grueling that’s for sure. First class is a 90 minute intermediate class. It  goes from 11 to 12:30. The second

part of the day starts at 1 PM and goes till 3 PM. We’re both pretty achy from
 yesterday‘s back bending. But it’s a good

thing we got up early. After breakfast, we headed on down to the studio. We got there in plenty of time and got ourselves

prepared for class. The first class was an intermediate class which featured the 26th+2, but also had
a quicker pace and some positions that were more like Vinyasa than Bikram. It was some of those poses were very, very challenging,
especially
once it took Balance. Afterwards, we hung out at the studio and I got more liquid refreshment such as Gatorade and cold water. My lower back was being fitful, but I

got through it. Next was the posture clinic portion class, which was 2️⃣ hours. We did some poses and people asked questions and it was very informative. I did the standing
opposite knee stretch in front of everybody and

grab my toes and he said that was fine but he encouraged me to push my stomach and it was very informative. Afterwards, Mary and I walked through Center City and they had a street fair going on with people serving

different foods. It was really packed with people. I haven’t seen it packed like that in a while. We got back
and started watching a video on the 84 Austin’s

advanced class. We then got really tired decided we needed a nap. Something bad. We did that and it’s now 8 PM. It might have a thunderstorm coming up but so

far it’s held off. I’m getting Royal Indian just for myself since Mary ate some leftovers previously. We watched Mare of Easttown what conclusion man was an attention show for sure live nonstop

screwed up things going on in that community and the weird relationships, etc. The last episode everything got resolved in the way that very surprising but I’m glad things did get resolved

because things are really messed up.Tomorrow we have the 84 Asanas

in a class which is gonna be intense considering what we’ve found out during our intermediate session. Everything goes faster. All the no posts are really healthy. You just do them when you go to the next one. We even watched a video for a little bit earlier in the day.
