Sunday, November 2: Visit Mom & Sunny

Hello, I just woke up around 8:30 AM standard time which was 930 daylight savings time. Yesterday is the day that the clocks got turned back for fall. You know spring forward fall back… Anyway, I 

got up had a quick breakfast with a couple of bananas and then hung out and waited for the 21 bus for 11 minutes and finished up my blog. I got 

to the Riddle village around 11:30 and mom was very drowsy and she was still quarantined in her room due to the Covid of her roommate. 

I had to wear a mask to get in which was fine. She was quite drowsy. Anyhow, I wasn’t allowed to leave room site spend time with her in a room. I got out and my bus was running nine minutes late, which 

is no problem because no Wawa across the street to charge my phone and that’s what I did. I did manage to catch the bus and get back to Melbourne 

somewhere around 1:30 PM. I fixed myself up some lunch having a couple of frozen samosas. They were pretty tasty. I must

say after I had the frozen samosas I just hung out and then decided that I would go outside since it was such a nice sunny day outside. Since the sun was going to 

settle a lot earlier, it was a real good idea to go outside. I went outside and walked towards the friends burial ground, a.k.a. Quaker burial ground in Upper Darby. Basically across market Street in in a 


few blocks south. I walked around took some nice pretty fall pictures. after walking around the cemetery having a seat for a bit, I went back to the entrance and there’s a Greek Orthodox Church there and I could 

see the moon or our rising and that was really cool so I took a bunch of pictures doing that. After I got back, Pat came home from work and we hung out and I cooked up some pasta. He had some of the pasta. It’s good to hang 

out with Pat. I don’t get to see him that often. Well, Pat left to fix his bike and do some repairs on it and I cleaned up some dishes and started feeling very drowsy so I decided that I would start getting

to bed. I decided at some point that she should go to bed early so I think I went to bed getting around 10 o’clock at night or 1030 by 


the time I really 10:30 PM, but I slept. First time in a while, I felt motivated to take pictures. And that was nice. Tomorrow I got a busy Monday with taking Mike out to West philly via Uber 

and and then going to my own dentist appointment for a cleaning. It’s November and we’re fully into fall right now. November is traditionally a very busy month with birthdays, elections, and other such thing. Yeah for me 

to vote I have to go all the way out to Drexel Hill because I’m using a different address to vote. At some point, maybe I should change it through


my Center city days because it’s a Royal pain in the ass to get out there and it is an important election. .

Sunday, October 19: Canceled Voice Lesson, Visiting Mom

Good morning everybody I got up at 7:30 AM thinking I had to be home at 8:30 AM for a voice lesson that was being held today. Look to find that the voice teacher sent me an email at 3:09 AM. 

My time to cancel because she’s feeling sick. She’s over in Europe, so that’s why I had to see the appointment so soon anyway I got back then ate breakfast and took a nap and headed on down to the Riddle Village. I 

arrived there around 10:50 AM to visit mom. Well, I got to Mom’s and they are sitting in a wheelchair instead of a

regular chair. I guess they’re out of chairs. We didn’t meant back to her room. She got cleaned up and then she took her Rollator back out. We sat for a minute 

cause she got tired and then we went to the fireside room where I always go to relax with mom went there for a bit and then it was time for had lunch. I’ve been talked to Dave and she asked me why she’s 

in a wheelchair and I really didn’t ask. I should have. Anyway, I’ve been waited 45 minutes for the bus to get back now 1:25 PM. It’s time 

for a nap really it’s very sunny and milder than I thought it would be. Why did you go home and I didn’t end up eating some food and then I watched

some football highlights. The Eagles did win but not by much over Carson Wentz & the Vikings. I did do the mighty crash and then got up and ate some 

pasta for dinner. I just laid around and didn’t sing any songs cause I was too tired.

Sandee, October 12: Visiting Mom. Tabling & Outfest

Today I woke up around 8:30 9:00 AM and I’ve got myself ready to go to Mom’s. Instead of taking Uber I decided to take the trolley in the Market Frankford line. I got home dropped off my 

Yoga stuff and then heading on out in the meantime, I found out that AT&T charge me the overrated when I changed my plan so I had to bother with them very soon. I got to Mom’s and they already got her in for

lunch so I waited outside for a while and doom scrolled through threads. It’s now 1 o’clock. It’s time to go visit. I think she’ll probably be done lunch by now. The good thing is that I got to charge my phone 

up to 86% so I’m good. I visited my mom. She was very tired! We went to the normal room that we go to and that was fine. We talked a little bit. I gave her a neck rub, etc. I got our standard picture and 

that was fun. Afterwards, I thought the one 30 5 PM bus back to 69th St. terminal. That was a good thing so I came back Jetson my backpack

and took a tiny little nap. Next thing you know it was after three and heading towards 3:30 PM so I just got myself ready to go to Outfest and man a table. I caught the train at around 3:32 PM. Soon after,

this insane dude bringing a bunch of stuff and held up the train a little bit he’s got all kinds of crap with him. He’s talking really loud. I thought it would be best to move away from the gentleman. Train 

with no incident and I walked straight down 13th St. until I got to Locust and then Did find the table. I looked for somewhere to eat, but decided I would hold off until I left here. As of 4:25 PM the

rain has held off, which is quite good because it is pretty festive and still very crowded. I think it technically goes till six and then there’s cleanup. Yeah, it’s pretty chill here right now. Just really pleased that the 

rain turned off but I’m glad I put on an extra layer with a nice flannel shirt because it’s a little brisk out here. It’s definitely feels like fall out here. Eagles 🦅 

ren’t playing so no sports tensioner or stress story about today which is good. Will the rain held up the whole time which is really good. I helped close up and this time we didn’t have to carry 

stuff all the way down too. God knows where the car was driven right up and we just rolled the stuff a block away to where a car was parked. 

I got back to my place & myself some dinner. I just wasn’t in the mood to go out and try that, beach food again cause it was so funky last week. I’ve been cleaned up and mixing out what I was getting

really tired and I just crashed which was very sweet indeed. I knew I needed some sleep. There’s a picture of me right above that I looked totally tired. And I was tired. I really do need to shame. I’m really overdue
to shave and I don’t like when I wait that long cause it takes a while to get all the hair off with the blade

and the blade has to be really sharp. It’s supposed to be overcast with rain until at least Tuesday.
