Sunday, July 20: Madcap Sunday Visiting Mom

Today I woke up between 8:45 AM and 9 AM. Hung out with Mary then we left together and she went to get coffee and I went to catch 

the 21 bus towards Millbourne. I only had to wait about 3 to 4 minutes for the bus, which I felt very fortunate to be able to do. I was pretty damn tired when I woke up, but I still managed not 

to pick up an Uber. Anyway, got the Millbourne had a juicy and picked up a super coffee. I then picked up a pound cake when I got to 69th St. terminal called the bus. The 110 bus has more stops, but that’s 

the one I was able to catch. once I got to mom‘s, I was in time before her lunchtime so we went to the nice 
little room and we hung out and I shared 

pictures from my phone of different people my nieces, Mary,. Etc. sooner was time for her to go to lunch so I said my goodbye and headed back to my place 

where I proceeded to just relax in my futon for a while. I eventually made 

pasta and noticed that my left shoulder was pretty raw in my upper 

back was a little stiff. It was good that I took the day off from Yoga. I didn’t saw Pat before he went to Jon Crowe’s and then afterwards. He hung around and fiddled around with with the bikes out in Bridgeton. I then saw him when he got back. He said Jon Crowe was well and we talked for a bit. That was nice to hang out with him for a little bit. He seems to be doing pretty well working hard as usual.

Sunday July 6: Visiting Mom with Mary

Hello boys and girls today is Sunday. Mary & I got up around 8:30 AM and quickly grabbed coffee and something to eat and then grabbed an Uber to 69th St. 

and we made the bus with about two minutes to spare the bus there pretty quickly I notified Dave that
 I was going Dave Michael. Mary are all at the shore of respect, 

etc.with the mom and hung out for at least half hour and she was very lucid and talked about our childhood and her father and her mothers and stuff like that. 

It was interesting. Anyhow, after we met, we then went to catch the bus back to 
Philadelphia. And realize that none of the buses we’re going to get us 

directed there so we took an Uber to Ocean City coffee Company and decided to take the trolley back to 69th St. trolley came

 after a little bit And went back to Mary’s and I had a little bit of a lunch which was very good. it was leftover Indian food and then headed back to my place 

to start the festivities. I talked on the phone and then finally got to what I was 

supposed to get to. I didn’t find the documents. I was really looking for by. I found a lot of other

 interesting things from my past. Things like bankruptcy, early recovery, 

and the diary about my retreat experience back in 1981. Mary & I started

 talking about next weekend when we’re gonna go to New York. Period I forgot that I had the cleaning person coming and we postpone it to next Sunday. Mary was invited to go to a baby 
shower on that 

same day. So stay tuned about that. I then did some digging real digging into the box of documents. There’s everything from bankruptcy to DUI to AA, etc. but I saved

 a lot of stuff

Sunday, December 22: Visiting Mom. Doing

This morning the alarm got off at 8:30 AM and I did my thing and got up and had my cereal and some iced tea. Mary was nice enough


to give me an Uber ride straight to to Melbourne, which was really nice because it’s frigid. it’s 19° outside and it felt as frigid as it looked. Anyway, I got Alice’s present and a present

 from someone else. One was fancy pasta with tomato sauce and oil. I think I’ll have it tonight. Why not. Anyhow, I got a T-shirt with a cassette tape with 

a pencil in the middle of it. People our age can relate to that kind of thing. I got that

 organized got my Social Security cardand my Aetna card came in go to



 bring all that for Monday and then I caught the 110 bus to Penn State. I’ve barely 

caught it on time. The bus did show up on time and I went to 

WAWA, which is really crowded today. I arrived at mom‘s room 11:45 AM. She was still

 sleeping. I was just gonna let her eat lunch with the other people, 

but she wants to go to the cafeteria so the lady at the place said you don’t need reservations so we’re gonna go eat lunch here. It’s now 12:13 PM. Well, a nice 

woman from Monticello went and talked to the people in the cafeteria and they had room so we went down there and it was very easy today cause there was no line mom wanted breakfast so 

I ended up eating the lunch which included chip beef and scallop potatoes. It wasn’t badnot my first choice, but it wasn’t bad so 1:07 PM. I’m hanging out with mom and then I’m gonna leave and catch the bus. Well, I got the bus in. Got 

home pretty quickly. I I then gathered my Social Security cards, 

my appointment notice for the TB test and the and the fingerprinting 

for the new agency. I also sent a copy of my card too them as well. I have to make an appointment to go to the Social Security office and look at my two cards. I decide to cook Alice’s gift 

of pasta and pasta sauce. It was pretty good. Eagles lost to the commanders 
which 
sucked, but I didn’t watch it. I was busy puttering then did my laundry later on in a day. It was a day of relaxing and future tripping like I haven’t done in a while. Also to state that it was really frigid outside. I mean it was cold. I’m glad I was able to stay in in the heat.
