Saturday, October 25: Funeral @ Silver Spring

Good day in Silver Spring, Maryland. We woke up around 8:15 AM. Got quickly dressed and drove three minutes to IHOP. We realized we 

could’ve actually walked there but we didn’t know. Went to IHOP and it was a nice IHOP so much better than the one in Philly. It had the traditional pancakes and all that I had protein pancakes today

that’s a new thing and I had told Mary that. Lewis Black on the daily show complained about protein being a fad and I’ve been putting protein in every single little meal. Well, we got back. I showered

Mary got dressed up and I got dressed up and we’re heading to Mary’s mother’s funeral service. We got to the service

approximately 10:45 AM which was a little late, but it really wasn’t a big deal. We chatted up with Mike, David and Debbie. And then there was a very informal service led by a Catholic priest that was pretty 

nice. And after the service they invited us to an after funeral get to. they invited us to a after funeral get together at a place called McGlincy’s Public house, which is in the middle of downtown Silver 

Spring. It was kind of a pain ass to get there. Well, we got to the Public house and we really lucked out and found a decent parking spot and we didn’t have to go into a garage and we hung out there for about 40 minutes. Got to talk to Dave Debbie and Mike, 



which is good. We only a lot of ourselves a 40 minutes and then we had to split. I think we made an appearance enough to be OK with the rest of the family. We then drove the scenic route and we stopped

by Bikram Yoga. Chadds Ford. Somebody’s teaching a class, but we got to look at the studio. We were very impressed with it. The teacher teaching the nine minute class was very chill and 

asked us how we were doing. We told him that we were from Hot Yoga , Philadelphia and he was put at ease. after you left Bikram Yoga Chaddsford , and drove

back to Mary’s dumped off the stuff and then return the rental car. After that, we walked back towards Mary’s and picked up our Indian food


at the Royal Indian restaurant. We were both very hungry after all that running around we did today. Found out from Dave that Mom’s 

roommate has Covid so I can’t visit mom tomorrow. I’m gonna take advantage of that and sleep in tomorrow before my 2 o’clock Voice lesson 



that I’m having at home tomorrow..

Sunday, June 1: Hanging w/Bro’s and Sister

This morning I got up after a pretty good sleep on the La-Z-Boy. My arms hurt but not so bad that I’m wincing in pain. It’s just a constant ache which is better

 than it has been but there’s plenty of room for improvement and I’m taking my steroids etc. Mary and I went to the Good karma Café and met up with my brother 

David and John as well as Alice. We talked and hung out for a while. It was fun. I had a bagel. The breakfast sandwich was very tasty. Mary went back towards her house and I went with John and David back 

to the Cambria hotel. Joe was organizing his place in Alice had to check out. After a little bit we hung out 
at John’s Room  which is very nice. That place is beautiful

 views of Broad Street, and I tried to take as many pictures as I could have that situation. Anyhow, we eventually got Alice‘s car from the valet and House and I drove together to Dave’s place in media and John and 

David drove Dave‘s card back towards media. After a couple fits and starts we got to Media at the exact same time is John and David. We hung out at Dave’s house for about 20 

minutes which was fun. We were yukking it up pretty well. We got to see Dave’s dog Duncan and that was fun. We then left from Dave’s house to go To my mom‘s 
place at Riddle Village. That 

was a fun trip cause I don’t think all of us together I visited mom at the same time while she’s been living there. Period we post for some really 
fun pictures. That was very enjoyable. Alice 

dropped me off to downtown media where they’re running buses instead of trolley so I just called LIFT because there were six bucks cheaper than Uber, but of course the guys like 15 minutes away and was going off to another ride. I couldn’t cancel without 

incurring a five dollar fee so fortunately Ocean City coffee was still open so I got myself coffee. I had to blow off my shift at the pride event which I didn’t want to do, but it was impossible not to. Then I’m 

going to go to Pat’s to watch his dog. I’m much later than I thought I’d be because everything inspired and I don’t get to see my family that often so I had to do what I wanted to 
do and needed to do. It’s now 4:30 PM. I’m 
just sitting here killing time at the Ocean City coffee house updating my blog for today and yesterday yesterday has a ton of pictures so that’s going be a time consumer. I just gotta concentrate on doing that. Well, I went home and my shoulder was bothering me so I ate some pasta.  
 Take my mind off at watch YouTube videos and talk with Mary a little bit the pain attention to my shoulder with preoccupation today. Pat eventually got home from Bridgeton around 9:45 PM. His dog is really hyper today. I mean really 

hyper more than the south than last week. He had no news to report from Crowe who seemed to be subdued. We’ve been ordered a Kababish  and 

went over to Mike’s house I haven’t seen him in a while. He lives in Ireland
halfway through the year, so it was good to see him again, and it was time to vacate the premises and try to get some sleep.
