Monday, March 9: EMG test, Alaska Planning & Yoga

Well, OMG today is time for my EMG test at Jefferson at 25 S. 9th St. I got up and turned off my alarm twice. The second time I looked at
Mary’s clock and thought I had plenty of time to sleep and then I got confused and realized it was 7:12 PM not 6:12 AM. You know that daylightsavings time thing. It’s great that our phones automatically changed the time. Anyhow, I caught the 17 bus with plenty of time after I grabbed a banana in my super coffee that I had. That bus was really crowded when he first got on. I arrived at 7:45 AM got checked in. I then had a nurse take my vitals and then I saw the resident who works under Dr. Peterson. So rightnow it’s 8:36 AM I’m still waiting for the doctor to come by. It was a good thing. I took the day off cause this test probably will take another hour till at least 9:30 AM. Well, I guessed pretty closely. It didn’t really end until 9:45 AM. I came out and it’s still very cool outside. I technically could’veworn a winter coat.. well, after I walked up to one street I caught the bus and went to the bank and then just chilled out right now square for a moment, are you trying to get a hold of my Dennis and Thomas over at Cozumel? The final result is that I’m gonna get my extraction and bone graft done here and then the plan is to call Thomas and schedule something in September or October that’s the plan as I see it right now.
Mary and I then went to Barnes & Noble got a book about Alaska. In the meantime, I don’t see my Alaska Airlines flight on my American Airlines app. I know I didn’t sign through The Alaska Airlines app because it doesn’t work. So I called Alaska Airlines and it’s now 1:46 PM and they have not even calledback yet. I’m supposedly on this list for a callback. Mary was off her bill with the Dorchester and that is that for now. Meanwhile, in Iran 🇮🇷 they just selected their new leader who’s just his hard-core and hard line is the previous dude. They’re not backing down anytime soon. The other is well, I got a hold of Alaska Airlinesand they settled out my flights. It took a while, but they gave me a copy of the flights from San Diego to Alaska. Also, I got a new password login for Alaska Airlines. The whole flight is under Alaska Airlines not American Airlines it took an hour to resolve that Mary also got a hold of the

same lady and took care of her login issues. It sounds 3:42 PM heading into byron at 4 o’clock 75 minute class. What class is pretty good today I mustsay I got some advice about just standing on my foot instead of completing one of the poses just to get practice balancing. Anyhow, we hung out at the studio for a while and then and then we found out that the Sherman’s shoe store that’s on the first floor is moving out to the suburbs and it might be a vegetarian restaurant not sure though.

Thursday June 26:Parsonage-Turner Syndrome

I had to get up early because I’m having an EMG test conducted. It’s in Jefferson Hospital land which means I have to go to 25 S.9th St. Plenty of time but

the 17 bus to show six minutes early in the elevator took forever to catch cause everybody’s leaving for work. Some woman on the seventh floor was looking at her phone
 and I yelled
at “seventh floor.“ She called the elevator I ended up missing the bus and walking at chestnut Street. Fortunately the bus came fairly quickly. I just called back fairly quickly for the EMT appointment. They did
some motion test. She took a look at my wing scapula and this test has two parts some kind of nerve diode thing and then the acupuncture needles. This is the

second part. I just finished the EMG. It was pretty intense. Yes I have nerve damage on both sides. The left side. I have it on my rotator cuff, on my right side.

I have it near my scapula. They don’t know if the nerves will recover or not. They have no idea there’s nothing they can really do about it. I have this syndrome called Parsonage Turner syndrome. Yeah, I feel pretty beat

up right now but at least I know what I have just do PT till I’m dead, I guess. Anyhow, I rested afterwards. I walked all the way back and I lied down to Mike’s bed for a minute

looked at TikTok videos and drank some super coffee to offer me blessed relief. I talked with Mary and Mike. Mike is definitely getting out of the hospital

today around 1 o’clock. Mary then came over to Mike’s place and we did some further

organizing and cleaning before you got home. We put the bookshelf

where the clothing was and put the clothing where the bookshop bookshelf

was right behind Mike so he can grab his own clothes. We then talk

to Mike for a while. Mary and I walked back to her place and I picked up my yoga
clothes and walked all the way back to

Mike’s to sign out by 3:30 PM.  Well, I went to class and Lupe was teaching.

This is one week since I came to my first class and loopy taught it. I did

my usual, not using my arms and shoulders routine. I’m starting to routine

it, but it still feels different. Afterwards, we hung out at the studio

and we talked to Evan. He’s going away to perform out in California. So he’ll

be gone the entire month of July. I went to my CODA meeting
