Friday, September 11: 25 Years Ago & Aftermath of Fraud

AaToday is the 25th anniversary of the 911 attack. I remember what I was doing. I was waiting for PG W. to come to my house at 233 S. 49th St. I thought I had a gas leak. So I was coming into work late. Turns out I didn’t have a gas leak. I saw an email. I got on my computer at my computer. Desk said Plane hits World Trade Center. It did not give details and I thought it was really not a big news story so I go to work and realized what it really happened. Everybody had their radios and TVs on. We ended up getting let out early for the day and I came back to my place in West Philly and just watch TV for the rest of the afternoon. I had just started grad school at Widner 2️⃣ days earlier. Anyhow, let’s move to the current day. Where is my first day after being robbed at the locker room at the yoga studio. I first went to Mike signed in. They ran over to SEPTA  to get my SEPTA KEY card. That’s over at 13th and market Street. That was a fairly easy process since I did have ID. Fortunately I had five dollars left because it costs $4.95 to replace a key card when it’s lost or stolen. So I just had enough money to get the card. Next, I went to insomnia cookies and noticed they had a camera but they couldn’t release it to me cause I wasn’t law-enforcement. Anyway, they were very friendly. Next stop. I went to Lululemon, who gave me a number and to aloe and they gave me the old line of well you have a police report and blah blah.. I then cut dial 911 and met the policeman in front of the studio and he took my name and number and all my vital information. I took a picture of it and put a copy in my wallet. Next, I met  Mary to get a lock for the lockers cause now I’m gonna have to do lockers. After that, I went to Mike’s and it turned out that Mike is probably not getting injection shot cause he took his meds when he wasn’t supposed to take his meds so he tried calling doctors office and that was a pain in the ass and it’s still unresolved as of 3:38 PM. I left Mike’s early and I’m about to go to the studio early so I can fit my lock. well ended up. I couldn’t really use my lock because I couldn’t read the numbers without my glasses so I just stuck the thing in there and and I just pretended to lock it. And then went to Class and Katelynn taught it. I did tell her about the theft because I don’t know it needs to be known because it really threw my life in it a bit of a confused state trying to figure out how to get shit fixed. It’s going to be for next two weeks. I’m going to have to manage canceled orders and auto pays that don’t go through cause I canceled every goddamn card I own. Anyway, Class was good. I was good for me to go to class today. It wasn’t as hot as normal because I had the fans going unnaturally because I think heating guys were fixing the place. After Class Mary and I came back and relaxed for a while and had some pretty deep conversations about the different things are going on. I scraped enough money and we’re getting Indian. We decided that due to the fact we have a concert at 6:30 and we don’t wanna get up early for a morning class. We’re just gonna skip yoga tomorrow. We’re also doing an ashtanga class and an evening class tomorrow as well.

Thursday, June 11: Relaxing @ Poway

After a wonderful sleep, we got up around 10:30 AM. We Jettisoned the idea of going to the club because we were very much sleepy and we decided we’d eat breakfast and take our time. We had cereal and some coffee. I also had a juicy as well. Quite frankly, the coffee didn’t taste great so we just kind of drank it. That was about it. After that, we just met around the house and relax. I got this email from enterprise Rent-A-Car from a “management trainee“ who wrote this really formal letter stating that I needed a live credit card, and a drivers license with no restrictions. That was the first time I ever heard of such a thing before. A drivers license for that restrictions. So I called Capitol One and got an email verifying that I have coverage. It’s one of the better benefits of the Capitol One card that I have called the savior card. Anyway, it’s now 12:58 PM and we’re gonna go out to get some Greek lunch while House also go to DMV and get some stuff done. Oh yes, Becky was here loading her stuff into the pods storage thing in the middle of Alice’s driveway. She filled it up and they’re Going come by sometime between 7 AM tomorrow and 4 PM tomorrow. Yes that’s typical u-Haul bullshit. It’s now 1:25 PM. We’re sitting inside for a moment before going to walk back to our favorite happen in place target which has a Starbucks and delicious bars that Mary discovered when we were in a hurry to buy stuff and towels. Alice has been working all day. We just heard from our friend Meghen, who has been to Alaska  and Takena. She gave us some tips of some stores to go to in Takena, which is a cute little small town will be hitting after we leave Anchorage. Will be staying there for four days. We’re sitting here drinking the delicious iced coffee and we have the one table and we’re sitting here. We ended up staying at target till about 4 o’clock and then we got back at 4:30 PM. We were gonna go do something with Alice but I also had a meeting at 6:30 PM and thought it wasn’t enough time and we ended up just chilling in the house with the cool AC and mellow way out the whole night. We did watch a really stupid movie called catch and release. Jennifer Gardner was in and it was just terrible romantic comedy. We were just making fun of it the whole time. Then we discussed Car Rental in charge which was really stimulating and exciting not…… Anyway, we then eventually crash for the evening.
