Sunday, September 27: Nor’easter Starbucks & Amtrak

Hello boys and girls it’s another rainy day on the East Coast. Maryann and I are in Boston. We woke up around 10:30 AM checked out of the hotel. They didn’t charge us anything for leaving after 11 o’clock, which was cool. We then got ourselves ready to get going. Mary unfortunate Lost her Hot Yoga Philadelphia ha. We then got an Uber to the Starbucks. The Uber driver was very nice. We got there around 12:30 and it’s now 3:30 PM. We looked at a lot of threads material just laughing and stuff and having a good time drinking multiple iced coffees. A nice Asian couple sat next to us. They were very nice. They allowed Mary to see if her charger is charged up and it just needed a joke to get working. The Phillies are actually leading the raise 4–0 in the third inning. They scored more than one run for the first time in a week. So we’ll see if they hold that lead with that relief pitching. We’re supposed to catch 8 PM Amtrak train. Hopefully it won’t get delayed too much due to the torrential rainfall. So far, I have not gotten any alerts yet. Well, it’s now 5:29 PM. I did get one alert that the train is leaving at 8:01 PM instead of 8:00 PM so that’s OK. The Phillies did manage to beat Blue Jays 7–3 so we are in the playoffs as a wildcard. It’s been relief all around. Naturally folks are somewhat jaded, knowing that we have a history of bowing out the first round with a whimper with no back support. They actually went on the field with their playoff shirts. They should’ve just been said thank you very much about taking me and going in their locker rooms and reevaluate themselves. Anyway, we’ve been in Starbucks for the last 4 1/2 hours killing time..
