I got up along with Mary and got ready to head out to Boston on our 6:58 AM train to Boston. I didn’t sleep well that great but I had attacked most
of it last night which was good. we got the Uber and got to the 30th St. station and plenty of time. We grabbed a bite to eat at the famous
Dunkin’ Donuts place at the corner. Grabbed a sandwich breakfast sandwich it is and got going. We got on the train nice and Early found a spot with
two seats together and got going turned out that our side of the train. The charging port didn’t work and we asked them about three times and finally during the trip we were
able to get our phones charged just before we got to Boston. It was a smooth ride. There were no untoward delays or anything like that. We
got the Boston and we saw this outdoor festival of food and other things. We saw this tent with Indian food and we decided to purchase some
before you go to the hotel. It was a little expensive for the amount of food, but we figured we better have some food because we hadn’t eaten since.
Anyhow, there are some cool buildings in this area Boston. We took a picture of we then took it “T“ the green line.
Commonwealth Avenue We got off at Harvard Avenue and walked to the Farrington Inn. This is a location of Boston called well I don’t know if it’s called but it’s like little
Korea. There’s Korean restaurants everywhere. This hotel is basically a rooming house back from the 70s. It was really a trip we signed in we paid $40 extra for two nights
of a private bath, which was a good move. Then we chow down on our Indian food is very tasty. We were thinking of going back out, but we are really
tired and decided we’d lie down we end up crashing for a couple of hours, which felt really good. We got up walking around this one street which I forgot
the name of which had all look in Korean stores and we went to a couple of stores grab some fruit iced tea, etc. for the trip back we came back and tried to TV and that didn’t
the one of the managers at a place try to fix it and he eventually did fix it. It was pretty hilarious then we just got work well so we had real tired and crashed. Oh yes, we
found out that the Red Sox game was being moved to Tampa to be played on Sunday, September 27. We’re not flying to Tampa obviously!! The email also
told us that we’ve got our money back in seven days which is really two weeks in real time, but I have to keep an eye on my credit card and see if they put the money back in. Tomorrow is the weather supposed to get a little worse, we’re gonna sleep in and go to Starbucks.
