Monday, November 25: Off to San Diego

Well, 5:15 AM rolled around and we got up and got ready to get an Uber around 6 AM. We successfully got the Uber and got ourselves dressed and
ready to

go. We we got to 30th St. the train was running 13 minutes late, but it didn’t

matter that much, which was good. We got to the airport and found

out that Mary’s ticket. Had the TSA pre-check but mine didn’t which was really obnoxious,

but we had competent help so it didn’t mess us up too bad at all.

And we found a place called the love grill and then we had some fresh Breakfast

food. That food really hit the spot also bought myself a $4.44 Pepsi

instead of a coffee. OK, it’s 8:56 AM. We just lifted off to our trip to San Diego

. I now have 20 minutes of free Wi-Fi if I want more than I have to pay $20 for an hour. Anyhow, it’s about three hours more till I get to San Diego. We may get
picked up by Alice not sure yet. Flight went smoothly and we got three seats to ourselves, which is nice. Well, we arrived at the airport successfully and we managed to catch.
the Uber pretty

quickly. It’s nice and it’s a very sunny day today. Uber and LIFT are

about the same price a little over $50. So I went with Uber that was 51.42 to get

us from the airport to dialysis. When we got to dialysis Mary and

I decided we needed a nap and that’s what we did. I got up a little earlier

and hung out with Alice when the sun was setting and got some nice pictures.

Afterwards, I cooked up some pasta and made a salad for us and I then

woke Marie and Mary came down. We all had dinner together, which

was very pleasant. Around 9 o’clock both Mary and I were really
tired and went up and ended up crashing around 9:45 PM after watching a little TikTok and talking and stuff. I think the jet lag in the accumulated tiredness just caught up to us.

Saturday, July 8: A Trip to Valley Forge in Humidity.

This morning I got up around 10 AM and just luxuriated

in the central air-conditioning since it was extremely humid and hot already.

I ate my breakfast and then Pat happened to buy. I got to hang out

with him a little bit. He did some Indian food shopping and, I had an extra Samosa so we had it and chutney sauce. That was very good.

Next thing you know it I had talk to Wes and he brought over the supplies that I needed and got them for cheap price of a dollar each I took him he gets cheap gas for buying things in bulk or something like that at the giant. I then got a ride to 69th St. station, which is a good thing because we just had a thunderstorm just one that just for that happened which was

wonderful , I caught the 218 train to 18 PM train. I then arrived at Hughes Park and was picked up by Donna to save time in and also

just in case it rained we went for some photograph photography at the Washington memorial church near the Valley Forge Park it’s cool architecture

. Took some photos and then we went for a walk  dodging thunderstorms in between. And then we went to a restaurant called Azteca after the walk. That

was delicious. They had a vegetarian enchilada that was absolutely scrumptious and very light didn’t pound your stomach like some Mexican food Can Do. After we did that, we walked out of the restaurant and the humidity basically ☕️ dissipated and it was 10° cooler. It was very nice. Stop back at her place had a coffee
while waiting for the next train to arrive from Hughes Park Smailer, 8:43 PM the train should be here in 10 minutes. But the train did shop on time and I rode myself home and got home around

9:25 PM which was just in time. I then talked on the phone for a
little while I guess about an hour. After that I had something to drink cause I was really thirsty And gathered some stuff for tomorrow in

my backpack. It was nice to gather stuff in my backpack. Overalls a nice day to break up the routine
of Saturday. I need to do that every so often.
Don’t get me wrong, I do like my routines. They’re good for me in general, but sometimes I need something different to break things up a little bit. Tomorrow I visit mom  maybe with Wes maybe not and then I go to Ardmore.

Saturday, April 17: A Vacant Day Then Twitter

Well I woke up early to go to men’s meeting which I have not attended in

bout 16 months. I’m going to try to wake up for the 7 AM 15 AM meetings if I can. I just need to get myself back in the old flow. Anyway, I just though  I wanted to go somewhere for the hell of it. So I took

he train down to 30th St., Station. I looked at the Amtrak prices and I were

ery expensive as I feared. Also the times weren’t very good so I bag

that idea. Next I thought about taking me to train to Doylestown but it

as getting late in the trains didn’t run that often. I decided to sit on a table and observe people because there’s outdoor seating but there was nobody around which was good. I then wobbled myself back home and cleaned up my oven. That I’ve been really needed it badly. Even though I haven’t cooked much on it it was still a lot of Schmutz all over it especially the one burner that I always choose.
