Monday March 31: Leaving Alachua

Hi! It’s Monday, March 31, 2025 and the last day in Alachua Florida. We woke up at a custom early time. We had our nice free breakfast at the Hampton Inn. That was anWe had our nice free breakfast at the Hampton Inn. That was a really nice thing to have during this whole trip. We left the hotel around 8 o’clock for our 8:30 AM 60 minute Hot

Yoga class with Kaitlyn. There were 3️⃣ other students

with us this time. Today I could tell my body was a little bit exhausted. It was

a good class. After class, we chatted with Kaitlyn for a little bit and

also with Shannon. We then left to go check out the hotel and we checked out just in the

nick of time. They’re gonna give us maybe 10 minute leeway, but

we got out on time no hassles. We then went to a weird Circle K that had no iced

tea and weird parking and then we found a Wawa . which had iced tea

which was really good. They said a parfait and some bananas and now we’re

back at Hot Yoga Newberry to hang out for a little bit before we leave. Well, we hung out

at Kaitlyn‘s for a couple hours. Had good conversation and delicious coffee

and then she fed us a nice meal. A vegetarian Indian meal it was delicious. That was very

nice of her to do that. She’s able to do that for us because Arthur agreed to pick up

one of the kids from preschool. The other child was getting

up from a nap. We talked about all kinds of topics from drug companies to different

yoga, studios, etc. She went out of a way to make us feel welcome.

We left about a half hour later than I originally planned. We left at 3:30 PM instead of 3 PM. We drove the rental car and got here

in pretty good time. There was no real bad traffic jams the whole way and it’s right in the middle of rush-hour on a Monday. The Rental Car return process

was very simple. They guided us in the right spot pointed towards the elevator, & it was not a far walk between the Rental Car area and terminal a where we

were supposed to go. TSA was pretty easy, not sleazy. Mary got each of us a turkey club sandwich which was pretty delicious and a bit dry but very good.

Then we found out we had to check in our luggage because too many people brought an overhead luggage. We are very lucky

because it just started to rain as of 709 we are taxi off the runway and we’re going to get ready to lift off. well, we lifted off and had a fairly smooth flight

with a few bits of turbulence thrown in for good measure. When we landed in Philly, a severe thunderstorm arrived along with us just after we landed.
We are very lucky that we got our baggage from the carousel, some guy told us that the baggage people stop doing their work when the lightning hits and man work hellacious thunderstorm right now it’s 9:53 PM.
