Good day everybody it’s the middle of the week Wednesday and we’re having the hottest day since I last was in Philly a week and a half ago when it was 101°. It’s about 96° right now. I was really drowsy asleep like I took a trazodone, but I slept till at least 745 if not, 8 AM. Anyway, I got up ate breakfast had some cold coffee and then headed out to Mike’s. I got the Mike’s and chilled out for a while did a couple of things like cleaning dishes, and whatnot. Also took out the trash. Mike was concentrating on trying to get a low income exemption from his lawyer fees. He then had his appointment at 11 o’clock and I went to drink some coffee and then I was about to go back to Mike’s around noon, and Pat called me to drive his car from Wynwood back to Millbourne while he picked me up and we drove all the way out to Wynwood where his car was where his bike was sitting. That took a while so then I realized in the middle of trip. I had an appointment with the doctor Hockenberry, today and I went oh shit so I told him I had a friend had an emergency and wanted to try another day. Unfortunately had something open tomorrow at two so hopefully that’ll save me the $150 fine that I’d get for missing an appointment and last minute. I got back to my place and saw this mailer the “scary letter about rolling with Medicare three months before my 65th birthday, which is next month of August. This is mailed July 2 and I just received it. I didn’t see it in the preview mails that I get from the post office. Now I’m writing back to Center City. Fortunately, I could just go straight to Mike’s. When I got the Mike’s, I saw a notice from UPS that they attempted to deliver a package. They didn’t bother to slip inside the door so they put a note stating to pick it up at 15th and chestnut. So that’s what I’m doing now 2:56 PM I’m at 15th and Walnut right now it’s pretty hot now. Speaking pretty hot how about explosive diarrhea?? It appears that the situation is worse than what the government is telling us! Are you really surprised?? This is fucked up. Anyhow, I got back to Mike’s and sat in the air-conditioning for a bit and charged up my phone so I wouldn’t run out of battery on the way back. well I walked back slowly and gonna miss a bunch of this soccer game but I just couldn’t rush back because it’s too damn hot. At least there’s a bit of a stiff breeze so that helps a bit. Gonna relax watch the soccer game and put this Medicare notice in a safe spot and Mary a dining room table where I have all my stuff, pending stuff sitting there. Where were they gonna go to 5:30 PM yoga and Yin class. That should be fun. Anyhow, the semifinal game it’s Argentina versus England. We’ll see how that turns out. Mary was busy today, organizing the house and doing two days of yoga laundry. 🧺 Well England got ahead one – nothing early in the second half. Argentina, then exploded for two goals and won 2–1. They will play Spain on Sunday. Go Spain go! We went to Dan’s class today and it was extremely boring and we barely got the class on time so we had to go in the middle of the studio which was steamy hot and there was no Varese at all. It was a struggle today. Some parts were a struggle better. Their parts were in. It was pretty darn hot and anyhow afterwards went straight to Class and I could tell her I was tired just from my reaction to the exercises. My free rolls supported bridge at the end, that was very relaxing and of course Shiva was good. We then came back got some anniversary Indian food and watching two law and order episodes.
Well, Mary & I woke up around 11:30 AM. Alice had been up for several hours we got up. Alice decided she needed to go swimming so she went to the Saint Francis pool to go swimming. Mary and I had breakfast and got ready to pack and then I discovered I somehow lost my Amsterdam Hot Yoga towel. I don’t know where it went. I guess I left it on the beach, believe it or not. Anyhow, we went to the beach and found out. I completely left my phone in the apartment so I had to run back and get it. I had a really good spot near the beach. We decided to go to Dave’s beach and Dave was going to be joining us. I did find my phone and decided to bring a Wawa bag and a second Pepsi cause that first Pepsi is probably going to be warm by the time I get to it. It’s now 2:26 PM. It’s about the same time. We arrive last time late as usual. There seems to be better opportunities for finding spots since it’s mid week. Well, we went to the beach and hung out for a while. I forgotten my phone. I had to run back, but I got a really close parking spot near the beach. 🏖️ so I went to the beach and finally started to read the book into the wild, and that book was really entertaining. I just was blowing through it, and it was really very entertaining and interesting. It was interesting how he went all over the country from suburban DC or Virginia near DC and managed to go all over the place up and down to West Coast to the Sault and Sea. I found a bear intriguing. It was extra cool because I’ve been to that place. Even went to Oregon and went on a canoe riding on the rails and got picked up a hitchhiker and picked up some nice friends. I’m really liking the book. I’m looking forward to reading more of it. Anyhow, Mary and I managed to go into the water this time unlike the last time. It wasn’t as hot and a nice cool breeze. Alice went in as well, and she said the water was warmer this time around which I would agree with her. We stayed at the beach till about 6 PM and then we wobble back towards the car and drove the car from the beach to our place. Which took a shower and then talked about dinner.Alice wasn’t in the mood to go out anywhere, but Mary and I were. Alice ordered a DoorDash and Mary and I went to La Bamba. They are a lot less chaotic this time around and we got really good service. We were seated near the area where people pay we got nachos with guacamole and burritos. Mary had a nonalcoholic margarita which she said, tasted a little bit pulpy, but she liked it. We then went back and they wrote back around and have some ice cream but my phone died so I didn’t get the answer until I got back. I also really enjoyed her dinner. It was a large vegetarian hamburger she enjoyed it. Just mellowed out and looked at our phones and talked a little bit for the rest of the evening.
