 Today I woke up early and let the dogs out and heeded mother nature's call. After I fed them, I watched some Law and Order reruns and put photos from my phone to my computer to create space on my phone. I am leaving Remus to  I then made a reservation to a Super 8 hotel near the Central Michigan Campus. I decided that would stay in

While she was doing her errands, I went to the Mt Pleasant Library. They had a t-shirt promotion. This is a  fundraiser for the Chippewa Library System. The shirt was only $10. That is pretty cheap. You can "Geek" anything you chose" I Geek_____" t-shirt from the library . I went with "I Geek Blogging." They agreed to mail the shirt to me since I am leaving tomorrow on the Greyhound.  Betsey met me at the library and I helped her put her photos from her iPhone 3GS to a key drive she had just bourght. She was pleased. This library had the fastest WIFI around and

Monday September 9th: A Lazy Day

Monday September 9, the day after the Wheatland Music Festival, I had a lazy day and woke up late. Betsey and I talked politics. We decided to take a leisurely  walk on a  warm afternoon. It's pretty with dirt roads and farms everywhere.

We walked the dogs up the main street that she lives. We walked along the dirt road and let the dogs run free. We
ended up walking a total of 7 miles. Next we mellowed out. I  then went to the Remus Tavern Ito check out the WIFI and get some grub. The WiFi did not work but the food was pretty  good   and the service was pretty nice.

The Eagles played the Washington Redskins in Monday night football. The score was 33 to 20 when I left the bar
since it was closed. Eagles hung on to win 33-27. Different coach same thing always has to be close. At one point they were up 33-7.  Its going to be an "interesting" year for the Eagles

Friday September 6th: Wheatland Music Festival

Well Hello all you seekers. This is Mark reporting from Remus the heart of Central Michigan (I made that up). I

went to  the Wheatland Library to get access to the Internet. Downloading YouTube videos of this trip have to be done a different way since the speed of the connections in this library

Towns East and West of Remus

is WAY slow. I will  have to save it to a key drive and then stick it to a USB drive in the computer at the Library. I am thinking the desktop computers HAVE to be faster then the WIFI.

Remus Michigan

I am in Central Michigan now till next Weds. I am going to the Wheatland Music Festival which is 5 miles from here. I am in Remus Michigan.  Here is more about my time in Michigan thus far. I will be reporting on the festival. My friend Betsey is going to volunteer from 3:00 to 7:30 today. I need to beat it out of this library.

It was a good thing I brought my charger because my phone just hung in there. We rode  back in the dark and got home around 11pm. We watched Alfred Hitchcock like we've been doing each night. I'm returning to the festival tomorrow at 1:30. It was a fun adventure. Here is a video review of my first experiences at the 2013 Wheatland Music Festival. I got a good nights sleep and woke up to cool bright sunny day. It's 64 as of 1:50pm. I had some cereal yogurt and lots and lots of coffee.Pictured is my

friends old stone house built in 1900. It's surrounded by 3 acres of green lush green. She's got to English Springer Spaniels. They have unlimited energy and wag theirtails ferociously They are really cute. She has a little weasel named Beap.

and the cars go very, fast. I mean the speed limit must be 60 mph. It was a bit scary especially with to hyperactive dogs.

WIFI Speed in Central Michigan: Wheatland Township

Internet speed in Wheatland Township Library is very slow. Its all I got beside my phone which is running at 4G speeds.
