Getting Picked up in Poway

Today I got up at 6 AM I got picked up by an airport shuttle

and got to  the airport in plenty of time. I had a rip off breakfast at Starbucks. They listed San Antonio!' YO dog!! they forgot Philadelphia! Oh well! They were listing the flights in alphabetical order!!

At first they said Dallas was clear and NOW it's not. We've had a bumpy flight off and on again 4 half of the  flight. My connecting flight departs at 4:20 p.m. Central daylight Time. I have a two hour layover then will be landing  We are going to bump on down to Dallas.....

ones whining...Speaking of House Republicans, The U.S. House just cancelled a vote on the  debt ceiling. The tea party strikes again. I Took an aerial view of the Kentucky state line. We are about an hour from landing.  Well its now 8:30pm EDT. We are starting our decent at this time. This WIFI will expire when we are below 10,000 feet.

Its 60 out right now. I am looking to get home at a decent hour and get acclimated to my real world. 

Got my bag real quick and got the airport line but because I had a transpass, I saved the $8  fare. The conductor noticed that I had to transfer before I did:)

 I am going into work tomorrow. At least its HUMP DAY! Oh and I will be humping it 4 sure. I am going to call someone I have been wanting to talk to all week. That should be fun. Yep we had our phone conversation we talked for about two hours.

this weekend, it's the terror festival and Shadyside around the corner. And for frankly I don't feel like doing anything out of the ordinary this weekend. Of course neither is a notable exception:)

a rainy fall day in San Diego. I came to Starbucks and took advantage of the outlet and the Wi-Fi to do some writing on the Internet and look up Laura's website that she's able to get on. The website holding our artwork basically switching formats therefore she couldn't get to her website.

My sister was at work and this is a good place to be when you don't have any Internet access and you want coffee.

Friday I'm going to visit a friend who lives in Carlsbad which is really pretty close to Poway by car. I will have access to a car which is really important out here in  Poway.

The one pictured is $3,500 or best offer. Not sure it would be useful in West Philly. If I had money to burn, and time to KILL I, would buy it, go across the county and then sell it. Its pretty cool. 

Okay, back to the real world for a moment if I may. The media is feeding the American public that it is BOTH the Democrats and Republicans for this current government shutdown. Well we as Americans love a free meal, espacally junk! Here is the headline in this article

Well, lets get real PLEASE!! The Democrats as they do, accepted the budget amount the Republicans wanted. The Republicans have been CONSISTANT on their agenda. They have said it over and over.

Republicans have badgered President Obama about  "Compromise"! I mean with the Republicans, "Compromise" is a DIRTY word. Now they are attempting to use projection (Right-Wingers are good at that!) to turn

the argument around. Oh right, Obama is going to cripple the most impressive legislative achievement. Well, some in the media do get it. I like the Huffington post when it comes to politics. They are reporting a "crack" in the conservative front against Obama. I mean ObamaCare is the law of the land, time to understand this. This is supposed to be county of laws NOT men.
I am now hungry. I have maxed out on coffee and I think I am going to pack it in and visit the rest of this mall. I just hope it won't start raining on me and my electronics. 

Well, my Sister did stop by the Starbucks as I was getting ready to eat. We went to Greek restaurant. The gentleman was nice and knew my sister. We ordered several appetizers and for dessert we both had rice pudding. The food was fresh and tasty. 
After dinner came home and chilled. I fell asleep well Alice was sketching.

A Nice Day to bring a child

It was a lazy day. One, I skipped the meeting and next I did not do ANY work since our computers were down all day. Mind you this shutdown has NOTHING with the looming government shutdown orchestrated by the House Republicans. The computers were shut up while software was installed to get ready for the ACA/Obamacare.

cleaned their desks (even me!) and hung out. There were SECA activities such as a hot dog and sausage sale for lunch and line dancing to the "Wobble".  During lunch, some women were doing " Double Dutch" with the jump rope. This is the first time I have see

adults attempt this. It takes some skill and coordination to jump up and not get tripped up. It was a good morale booster.
After work, I just went home ate some food from the Kabobeesh and some salad. I then crashed and woke up at 8 to plan to take a walk with Laura. I went to the Google Maps and did some work. I then emailed her the plan. We will see what happens from there.
