Sunday, November 23: Visiting Mom w/ Mary

We got up around 9:00 AM Go out to get breakfast and head out to my mom’s house via Uber. Went to heart of catering café, and it was crowded because

of them in Philadelphia marathon. We waited a while because of the marathon and we can order takeout and end up eating and splitting us 

breakfast of bagel and turkey sausage, which was very good. We then caught an Uber and the guy showed up real quick. This guy told us that the

space forces actually created in 19 in the 1950s, 1952 because the aliens crashed in Roswell. It gets even more bizarre. He said he was abducted by aliens when he was 14 years old and that’s why he 

was put on the space force he brought up a couple conspiracies. One of the conspiracy theories was General Eisenhower exchanged human lives, so we could get alien technologies, such as cell 

phones.  He also told us about project blue beam, which is made up by a conspiracy theorist from Canada. All very interesting. We arrived at Riddle Village around 11:40 AM.. We’re waiting for David 

to come over and we’re gonna visit mom. We almost missed our bus stop because we were looking up stuff on the Interwebs. call David Mary

and I visited mom. She looked pretty good. We hung out and talked to her for a bit. The TV was on and we put the TV on so she can watch. The Eagles 🦅 play Dallas at 4:25 PM. Dave, Mary and I met Debbie at a coffee shop in media. Dave was nice enough to treat us to an Arnold Palmer 

on my part and a for Americano for Mary. we had a nice time. We hung out and talked a little bit. Haven’t been to this coffee shop in media 


before. I usually go to the Ocean City Coffee and Dave will drop me off there and I’ll catch the trolley. Mary and I then caught the trolley which was 

running instead of the bus, thank God. We then rolled to 69th St. went straight to the market Frankford line back to Mary’s place. Once we arrived at Mary’s place, I charged my phone and we hung 

out and talked for a little bit and relaxed. We talked about our trip to California coming up next week for Thanksgiving. Next time got really lucky and caught the 21 bus five minutes after I 

arrived at the bus stop. Boy I was   lucky indeed. I then tried to fix the printer to no avail andthinking about packing my suitcase. The Eagles 🦅 totally choked and gagged and lost to the Cowboys 28 to 21. They blew a 21 to 7 lead in the second



 half oh my God, people are losing their goddamn minds.

Friday, October 10: 43° to Start. Ultrasound & Rehab.

woke up this morning till a 43° morning in which I had to leave Mary’s before 8 o’clock to get the Mike’s early so then I can take Uber to get to my ultrasound appointment on Walnut Street. Last night

was a complete disaster in the Philly sports world eagles got completely creamed by the Giants of all teams in the Phillies fumbled Away game four and lost in the Dodgers. That’s kind of depressing. 

Anyway, both Mary and I decided there’s no yoga today One we need a break and two I have my rehab appointment at 2:30 PM today. Glad that my normal appointments aren’t that late. Well, I went to 

my ultrasound appointment the Technician I saw was very efficient and did the procedure very quickly I thought. That took about oh I’d say a half hour 40 minutes tops. Then I sat there for 20 to 25 minutes 

waiting for the radiologist to show up. I then went out in the hallway, got somebody and she came in well dressed with two really young people. One was a doctor and one was a fellow who has a year and a 

half left. he looks so young. My mind was blown the radiologist lady said everything look good. The muscles look good etc. and they seemed very interested about my syndrome. 

It was very pleasant. I then came back to Mike’s and Mel it out for a while and finished off my coffee. I did wake up eventually, but I’m feeling definitely a little tired today. I met up with Pat for a little advanced rent

for January. So I’m paid for till February. We talked for a bit and then I went back to Mike’s and Nicole. The nurse came over and asked Mike a bunch of questions and that one pretty well. She’s a real advocate

or Mike she’s very good. Anyhow, Mike got a ride for his Tuesday appointment for next week. Mike and I also scheduled our vaccine appointment on Monday. I put 10 AM. He put 11:15 AM. 

We’re going try to both get them done at the same time on Monday the 13th. All right, it’s 2:27 PM. I’m in the waiting room here at the McGee rehab. 

The waiting room is a little full but it’s also extremely small. I almost didn’t get a seat. I am really tired today. Well, I went to Rehab and saw someone subbing because I’m coming in on an odd day. 

We took apart my machine and she programmed it for me according to the instructions I did some of the exercises. They weren’t too bad, but I was tired and I think my muscles were tired too. 

Anyhow, after the therapy I went to corner of Tasker and Columbus Avenue and miss the 64 bus because it doesn’t stop at Dickinson and decided

to take the 7️⃣ bus. The seven bus will take me to directly close to Mary’s house, but it is a an Odyssey through South Philly. So I get to see parts of Philly. I 

don’t go go to that often. And it is quite an honest you go down plums Boulevard then you go to Oregon Avenue and then you go up 22nd. It’s now 4:02 PM at the corner of 22nd Ellsworth Street. I’m looking forward 

to just maybe getting a bite to eat and lying down I am very very tired. Glad I canceled out Yoga that made a lot of sense. Once you got to Mary’s around 4:30 PM, I just crashed both of 

us crashed till about 7:38 PM in just slide around and order some Indian food. It was definitely needed. Holy fuck after running around watching our teams lose it was good. It’s just zoned out and sleep.


Tomorrow we have 9 o’clock Yoga. This evening we watched the baseball bloopers a little bit of Jimmy Kimmel and other things that weren’t serious just to give us ourselves a mental break. It was nice.
