Tuesday, May 27: Mild. Shoulder, Massage 😴

Once again for the 20th straight day I was awaken by my left shoulder being painful. It’s really getting old really getting old. The pain isn’t

skull πŸ’€ cracking but it’s it’s waking me up. So today I go through the paces get a massage done today acupuncture tomorrow, etc. etc. It’s mild but cloudy today. It’s going to
be the last day before we get rain for the next 4️⃣ days

after that. The days of being in the 50s are over thankfully. Mary’s taking care of her business getting ready for the wedding and
we have to plan on our West Coast flights for later on. It’s at 12:35. I just

arrived at Pennsylvania Hospital. Next stop is I have to go all the way back to 15th and Walnut. Hopefully I can catch a bus so I’m not late. Well, Mike said he they recommended Rehab

for him, but he doesn’t wanna go so it looks like he won’t be let out tomorrow
from the hospital. He’s still not feeling that great. Didn’t stay there long then

I caught the bus at 15th and Walnut and got a massage from Nick And he did hit the areas and put some icy hot on me so yeah, I feel a little bit better, but you know I’m not confident in anything right now

with in reference to my shoulder. So I just heard from Hellen and her daughter and decided instead of meeting at the coffee shop at 15th and Pine. I meet them at Broad Pine at the taco place

called taco Del. They’re gonna get there around three give me enough time and leisurely walk back to Mike and start charging my phone and then meeting them when they’re arriving. Well, they

arrived at the taco place. I went over there and they’re playing really loud obnoxious music so we switched plans and went to Petes Pizza, which is right around the corner from Mike’s. It’s the

place Mike and I go to eat every so often we had a pie and that was tasty and I was very hungry. As I was coming back to Mike’s, I ran into Limbo and told him

he was in the hospital and he stated that’s not a good sign for him. We both
agreed. And I just found out as I went back

to Mike’s for the last time today that Rick Derringer died I remember

he first hearing him when I was in fifth grade. I  Believe

he sang the song 🎡 “Hang on Sloopy.” He was the lead vocals for the band.

Anyhow, it’s 430 time for me to move   on the unpaid route this week. Well,

I got the Maryann. I was just perfectly tired. That big lunch I had plus the lack

of sleep really did have something to do with that. I ended up
crashing it from 5:30 PM till 7:11 PM. Fortunately, when I showed up at the church of the holy Trinity, they’re still putting people up on risers, and I just went up to the second to last row on the

risers. Is now 7:24 PM. Well, it is now 9:14 PM. We got ourselves a 12 minute break in the action. I decided I would try to quickly get an iced tea run back to the Dorchester

and go back to practice dear God we’re out of ice tea and I must get

a good night sleep at least half decent night sleep this is nuts!!!!! Well rehearsal ended around 10 o’clock

and then the next 15 minutes helped with taking down the risers. You got to be careful going down

the steps cause they’re all similar and you can’t see him that easily. I also think

I’m tired so pI’m a little out of balance. Going to have some leftovers of what Mary cooked and pray to baby Jesus himself that I can at least get 5️⃣ hours of
sleep 6️⃣ or 7️⃣ would be great. I don’t know how much longer I can maintain normalcy of any sort if I don’t get enough sleep soon. But I’m cautiously optimistic or cautiously pessimistic. I don’t know which one at this point.
