Sunday, May 18: Shoulder and LBI

Good morning and well it’s the same stuff my shoulder! Yes indeed of course it acted up at night and I couldn’t get a really good night


sleep at all as per usual. This morning I decided to go to the urgent care and take care do that. They said there wasn’t much they could do for me except they did prescribe neural steroid 

that would have side effects. The guy was verydull and had no effect. Anyway, I then took Uber to 30th St. Station. The Uber driver got me there really quick

 and I’m picking up my car around 9:15 AM. I got the car and it’s a Chevy Malibu. 

To figure out how to do stuff with my limited shoulder and I lost my 

ticket but so many gave me a new ticket so I could leave the building and I got to the Dorchester AOK. Mary

 already had the stuff ready when I got down there also got a breakfast sandwich and we stopped

 at the café to get coffee for the road. well, on the way to Long Beach Island Google maps sent me through I 95 N. to the 
Betsey Ross Bridge to Route 73 that was an interesting way to get to LBI. Then 

we drove by May‘s and the sign look completely different so I turned around and we saw that they’re going to “Make Mayo’s Great Again.” that was definitely kind of 



obvious where they stand politically. All along with the red white and blue with stars around the sign. Anyway, we took a bunch of pictures and the door 
was unlocked, but we didn’t walk in. I just took some pictures of the inside. another piece of our childhood redesigned and updated. At least it wasn’t demolished. Anyhow we arrived on the island and the lady 

let us check in early cause she didn’t wanna even bother to come to the desk so she just said that the room is unlocked and the keys in the room. So we then went to the place called the deck side diner.



 We’ve been here before factory bought T-shirts in the last time I was here. There sheets all broke through a thunderstorm several days ago the same one we got in Philly, but they always get worse

here. So cash is King here for the day. It’s now 2:08 PM and we’re getting ready to leave soon. I forgot to mention that Mary read the notes from the Jefferson, urgent care, doctors

 notes and they recorded some kind of minor deformity at the first rib, which is near the collarbone which is right near the top of the shoulder so I may have multiple things going on we 

also mentioned I might have bursitis. We used to laugh at the old band at Long Beach child about even playing his Bursitis. I guess I’m getting to be an old bander!!!!😮😮 well, after we left, visit the old Hunts and 62nd 63rd St. which includes the Brant Beach Yacht Club. The people that bought our property
 many moons ago took down their stupid Trump signs thank God. Next, we went to Bay Village and rummage around and Mary got a nice long beach island 



shirt for 15 bucks which is pretty good deal for for a T-shirt these days. We were both very tired and went back to the hotel and decided we would take 

a nice snooze and nap which we both really needed. I know I needed it because of my shoulder that shit. I haven’t had a good night sleep in a week so it was all good for both of us to get a nap 

in. after we napped, we looked at the glorious outdoors and it was very nice and then we went down the Internet rabbit hole for a little while that was fun and then we went outside and saw the sunset and went to the beach and

 that was very nice. So nice. We want to make friends with it. Anyhow, after that mention itwe decided that would walked the beach. I noticed that their street poles on the beach just like they 

are on the street. That’s the first time I seen that on the island. The Seahorse is right across the street from oh fudge a.k.a. Lucille‘s candies
 that’s been there forever. They’ve managed to keep the old fudge sign on top of the roof all these years the custard are still open. We may go there tomorrow. We then went back to the Dockside Cafe and 

had an unusual dinner of pancakes, so I wanted to eat something very filling so I could hopefully get a good nights sleep. I’ve been begging
for a good 

night sleep for a week now and God willing I can get. 1️⃣ it was a beautiful off-season day on the island. It was that perfect weather as you 

want not too hot not too cold a little breezy, but it was fine with us. That’s for sure. Found out a friend of ours was on the island
 at the same time enjoying Barnegat light. David, my brother was not there somehow. Anyway we’re at the Seahorse and that is that.
