Saturday, February 4: Coffee Shop, and Yoga

Well, I got up after decent night of sleep I first had fallen asleep on the futon and that was a wonderful sleep. I think I brought for

the morning and transferred to my bed after taking care of personal hygiene and I had a really weird stress dream that was enough to make me say OK it’s time to wake up now. It wasn’t scary or Chickory disturbing. It was just a lot of stress in my dream. Anyhow I got up. Took my time. Saw Pat And then decided I needed to leave the house even though it’s 23° out and frigid. I went downtown and went to the elixir coffee shop rather than do something else. I’m a little

nervous about my taxes and two of my income sources for the 2022 have not returned form, so I’m a little nervous. I may have to hire a tax professional. Anyhow, the big news today is that the United States shut down a Chinese spy balloon that

originally was spotted over Montana. It was flying over the Carolinas . The FAA had something to say about that and well. They shut it down because it was flying over military sites. That was the right thing to do.
So we’ll see if there’s any fall out from that stuff. Lisa didn’t propose to nuke it like Trump did with hurricanes

well, I went to a Lexar cafĂ© and hung out with young people and
drink coffee. Also worked on this blog posting and other Internet stuff on my phone. We’re no longer need a rope. I have to bring it back a laptop in my backpack and work on it. anyhow after that, I got a really small soft taco at Quierra. There was just enough food to keep me from

being really starving. Going to a 90 minute class. Well, the class really hot and I sweated like crazy. After that, I ran to the shower,  and intensely cold shower, and drink too full bottles of water. I decided I would go to

yoga Nidra class since I had time to shower up. It was a really relaxing

wind down class which was perfect after an intense 90 minute class. I got to really relax.

The end of the class is 30 minutes of just lying down in Meditating.

I enjoyed it thoroughly. It is now 8:15 PM. I am heading home and I’m gonna have some dinner. The plan

was to visit mom but she reported that her digestive issues so we’ll see what happens. I’m gonna call the Riddle village tomorrow morning.

Monday May 28: Letchworth State Park

Well Kerry got us up initially between 4:30 AM and 5 AM we got up early and we had it in hour and a

half to Letchworth State Park in western New York state. It’s in the middle of nowhere.

e first stopped and got a cuppa provisions I got my coffee and

we are off. It was a nice drive up with bargain a nice sunrise. It’s another

unny day here in sunny western New York. I’ve missed the thunderstorms in the rain to Philly but not that much. Ha ha ha. The balloon portion of the program was

unfortunately canceled due to wind. It can’t be anything else because it’s no thunder clouds or anything like that. Ken and Kerry were a bit bummed but I got off on taking
lots of pictures and videos.

would probably stay here another hour but the coffees getting to my bladder. There’s nobody here that’s probably because q the balloon aren’t going to be featured today this is the last day of

he balloon weekend they had here. Well after that we drove around

or a bit and found a place right near the “lower Falls.” It was called the Glen Iris is in a beautiful location.

Fortunately for us we came in right after big order came so  the service was terrible they made us wait an hour and a half before we got our food.
I got some wonderful pictures but there was no Internet connection in half the place. That’s OK. There were beautiful views Love the waterfalls from all different angles. I must’ve taken about 30 pictures of those waterfalls plus videos.  I love the waterfalls. We then decided around 1 PM to take one last look at the Lower Falls.  We then headed back home. We’re on our way home it’s 1:35 PM so I’m just getting back to you. I’ll be around back in Philly at the crack of dawn Wednesday

Sunday, September 3: Wedding Day at Freedom Run Winery

Well I woke up at the Freedom Run Winery. I was half
sleep and Kerry called to let me
know that the guys with the camp we're arriving at 9:00 AM. I popped up had
bowl of cereal and waited for the tent guys to show up. Once they did show up I decided I needed to go get some coffee
t the Tim Hortons. It's about 4 1/2 miles from the Freedom
Run winery. So I went to Tim Hortons & got my coffee and turned around. When I got back, I saw Kerry's sister and her
husband Jean. Jean had a good idea of going to a party store and getting balloons blown up and tied quickly
by a person who does it for a living. I didn't think it was her party store anywhere near freedom run but there was and that was good because we struggled last night blowing up of blooms. Jane and I had a really fun time with the woman at the store. The young woman had a really good sense of humor and was very helpful. Well by the time we did two separate trips to pick up the balloons it was getting time for me to ask for it off and pick up Molly and boyfriend in Lackawanna. It was about a 45 minute trip one way to get to her place. I have course cut that time by about 5 minutes because I was driving pretty fast. well when I got there they were already and we immediately turned around and headed back towards freedom run. I then had to get myself dressed and looking decent. So I went upstairs in my room and already there is a couple moving in that we're going to stay over that night I meant to get my room back for a little bit so I can get undressed. Well I picked out what to wear real quick and it looks pretty nice I think. I then got into my role as the photographer for it. Ken gave me me a few bucks my way to the photographs. I was happy to do it. The skies for a little bit threatening throughout the early part of the ceremony. I got some pictures of Kerry coming down the steps of the old house that's their freedom run. After that I got them walking with the two flower girls and the ringbearer. The ceremony wad very nice and to the point. Afterwords Kerry and Ken pose for pictures for the social media person from freedom run. She was a trip. She was very aggressive in trying to get the perfect picture. I naturally hill behind and Took my own pictures while she was doing all this posing and telling them where how to pose etc. I got some pretty good shots actually. Afterwords the reception iwas very nice and the chicken was absolutely delightful. I think I ate two slabs. After a 10 o'clock came rolling around and I needed to leave. I had to catch the 11:59 PM bus out of the Buffalo bus station. I gave Molly and boyfriend a ride back to their place and then drop off the rental car at the airport and paid a $35 cab fare to get to the bus depot on time. Well I made it to the bus depot in plenty of time. It turns out the mega bus was actually about 40 minutes late. I was just happy it showed up and I didn't miss it. It was a good day and I think I got some pretty good pictures
