Good day everybody it’s the middle of the week Wednesday and we’re having the hottest day since I last was in Philly a week and a half ago when it was 101°. It’s about 96° right now. I was really drowsy asleep like I took a trazodone, but I slept till at least 745 if not, 8 AM. Anyway, I got up ate breakfast had some cold coffee and then headed out to Mike’s. I got the Mike’s and chilled out for a while did a couple of things like cleaning dishes, and whatnot. Also took out the trash. Mike was concentrating on trying to get a low income exemption from his lawyer fees. He then had his appointment at 11 o’clock and I went to drink some coffee and then I was about to go back to Mike’s around noon, and Pat called me to drive his car from Wynwood back to Millbourne while he picked me up and we drove all the way out to Wynwood where his car was where his bike was sitting. That took a while so then I realized in the middle of trip. I had an appointment with the doctor Hockenberry, today and I went oh shit so I told him I had a friend had an emergency and wanted to try another day. Unfortunately had something open tomorrow at two so hopefully that’ll save me the $150 fine that I’d get for missing an appointment and last minute. I got back to my place and saw this mailer the “scary letter about rolling with Medicare three months before my 65th birthday, which is next month of August. This is mailed July 2 and I just received it. I didn’t see it in the preview mails that I get from the post office. Now I’m writing back to Center City. Fortunately, I could just go straight to Mike’s. When I got the Mike’s, I saw a notice from UPS that they attempted to deliver a package. They didn’t bother to slip inside the door so they put a note stating to pick it up at 15th and chestnut. So that’s what I’m doing now 2:56 PM I’m at 15th and Walnut right now it’s pretty hot now. Speaking pretty hot how about explosive diarrhea?? It appears that the situation is worse than what the government is telling us! Are you really surprised?? This is fucked up. Anyhow, I got back to Mike’s and sat in the air-conditioning for a bit and charged up my phone so I wouldn’t run out of battery on the way back. well I walked back slowly and gonna miss a bunch of this soccer game but I just couldn’t rush back because it’s too damn hot. At least there’s a bit of a stiff breeze so that helps a bit. Gonna relax watch the soccer game and put this Medicare notice in a safe spot and Mary a dining room table where I have all my stuff, pending stuff sitting there. Where were they gonna go to 5:30 PM yoga and Yin class. That should be fun. Anyhow, the semifinal game it’s Argentina versus England. We’ll see how that turns out. Mary was busy today, organizing the house and doing two days of yoga laundry. 🧺 Well England got ahead one – nothing early in the second half. Argentina, then exploded for two goals and won 2–1. They will play Spain on Sunday. Go Spain go! We went to Dan’s class today and it was extremely boring and we barely got the class on time so we had to go in the middle of the studio which was steamy hot and there was no Varese at all. It was a struggle today. Some parts were a struggle better. Their parts were in. It was pretty darn hot and anyhow afterwards went straight to Class and I could tell her I was tired just from my reaction to the exercises. My free rolls supported bridge at the end, that was very relaxing and of course Shiva was good. We then came back got some anniversary Indian food and watching two law and order episodes.
This morning I got up a little earlier than I did yesterday I felt OK I slept pretty well
I must say. I had my breakfast, and then got out of the house at 7:28 to catch the 7:30 AM train. Well that turned out to be someone out of a cluster fuck because
SEPTA had its world famous “equipment issues.“ It was there on their Twitter page, and they announced it over the loudspeaker as well. I ended up being 20
minutes late to work. I didn’t get a call from the agency so I’ll just have to sign off at 3:20 PM today. It’s good
it happened today and not yesterday when Mike was outside
waiting for me. Anyhow, I picked up some food for Mike in titled a little weird, but got the food to him and then tried one of his diet yogurts, which was pretty good actually. I then took a constitutional nap and then went over to the Wells Fargo at broad Street near Walnut. That place is the Grandel bank from the old days and they had exactly one or two tellers in this big vast hallway Also noticed that the art house, brand new spanking, expensive condos right next to the Broad Street ministry which serves meals to homeless people. They’re literally right next to each other. Also, Marjorie Taylor Greene that asshole congresswoman compared Covid. Droplets to fart droplets. Elon musk
let her off and she’s back on Twitter saying weird shit and getting all the attention she didn’t get us a kid set 11:50 AM heading back from the bank. Well, on
the way back, I checked out a massage place. It’s like a block from Mike I’m Lombard and then I was going to go look to see what the Trulieve place
is like. It’s a marijuana dispensary. It always looks a little not busy I thought maybe it was closed. And I ran into my old one of my old clients from the
welfare office who said she’s doing well and and that I was a good person and I helped people Sue that was cool. So now I’m gonna go chow down some lunch. Well I ate lunch and
that was good. I brought some extra lunch because I know tomorrow is supposed to rain and be kind of crappy. It’s now 3:16 PM. I’m
staying a little longer because I was late due to SEPTA as you read earlier in my blog.
And then going to go to yoga and I don’t know if I’m gonna do anything else. I might just go home. Tomorrow
I got a busy day with work then therapy and then maybe I’ll hear from the state ha ha. Well I found my .new favorite page about SEPTA failing to be on time. The guy featured my complain being responded to by SEPTA social. Pretty
with Donna over at Bryn Mawr. I’ll try again next week. The class wasn’t bad. I came home and up going to an online meeting of coda I missed most of it but I caught a little bit of it plus the business meeting. I’m supposed to leave the meeting on Thursday.
