Tuesday, June 17: Mike’s and Jefferson Rehab

This morning I initially got up around 5:30 in the morning cause my shoulder was aching a lot. It wasn’t horrible pain, but it was aching

lot. So I got up ate breakfast and went back to sleep and that felt pretty good. I was a bit sluggish all day, but I did actually attempt to get stuff done at Mike’s cleaned up his desk from the

hot sauce that it spilled all over it And threw out more bullshit from his piles of papers. I left a little bit and
watched old Phillies game

playing the Cubs where they won 23 to 22 on May 17, 1979. I was playing soccer practice at that and I heard that game on the radio. Also watched the Phillies Houston playoff of 1980. I then went to his

pharmacy and had nothing waiting for him and then I went to CVS and one of the orders didn’t track so I got stuck
behind some old lady and then decided

I have to buy the medicine but I used Mike’s credit card and that seemed to work. I then had to quickly leave at 3:33 PM. Mike was still on a survey so

he missed at least two calls one from his physical therapist who’s coming tomorrow and once from Penn Medicine to drop off shit on Friday. I’m now walking

down ninth Street for my appointment. It’s now 4:41 PM. I arrived here around 4:05 PM as instructed and my appointment was technically 420 payments now running 15 minutes

late. I hope they didn’t forget about me. Well, at least I can blog and listen

to old Phillies games to kill time with. I’m not used to being
made to wait like this most of my doctors appointments they stick to the correct schedule, but apparently not this woman. I went to the appointment. She finally showed up around 4:45 PM. I didn’t notice any rehab rooms

here. It looks like a regular doctors office. She brought a couple of MEDICAL students with her appointment. I went on and on about my shoulder told her I was frustrated and told her that it happened during yoga class and all she said is it was to keep
up with the exercise and she would write something in the folder the records I have an EMG appointment

Friday, June 26 at 8 AM so I have to be down here at 8 AM in the morning. I was expressing

my frustration so nobody can tell me anything until the MRI comes out. The EMG comes out but

to keep up with the exercise exercises I’m finally done. It’s 5:14 PM.

I think Mary was correct that she was just phoning it in. Using the fact the tests haven’t happened yet to say

we have to wait. What a pain in the ass. It’s like I haven’t even started recovery yet. I’ve been jerking

off for 6️⃣ weeks. Anyhow, I got to Mary’s and we decided to go to banana leaf and get our China sock chicken sock and then go to the meeting. The meeting was interesting. I was a little tired in the middle of it, but it was a good meeting and then we came back to Mary’s and had a very lively talk. It was very positive.

Thursday, April 3: Dr. Appt. Schuylkill River Trail

This morning I got a pretty exhausted so I didn’t get out of bed till about 8:05 AM. I skipped breakfast went straight to Mike’s and awaited

my Amazon order. Well, I got my Amazon order at the later end. It was supposed to come between 8 and 10 AM and it came Literally at 9:30 AM. The guy was nice enough to come upstairs with me. Sorry, unpacked

my stuff had a little bit to eat couple blueberries strawberries, etc. I then jet it off to the doctors office doctors appointment and then I realized I had no battery life left on my phone which bummed me out. So I showed up here

at 10 after 10 and it’s not that crowded but they still make you wait anyway that’s what they do. It’s been raining off and on all morning
fortunately it’s the it’s only drizzle so it’s

not too bad. I finished up yesterday‘s blog posting as well. I may go back to Melbourne to see what I have and also charge up my phone cause I’m at 3% capacity right now. I got
back to the Millbourne

and I saw Pat. I also took a shower and ate some lunch, which is really good. I then caught the train just in time, but it was a slow moving train kept slowing down & stopping for no particular

reason. I eventually got back to Mike not realizing that I had ordered regular Amazon super Coffee, icy drinks and headphones. The headphones were delivered at the wrong address, but everything else was delivered at the correct address fortunate

somebody took it in so I got everything. I’m still waiting for my nutrition bars they’re supposed to come next Wednesday. It’s now 2:45 PM. I’m going

to Fabio’s to get some miscellaneous stuff for Mike. Also gave him

a hat that I had ordered cause I did. Anyhow, it’s the 345 just signed out and

enjoyed not showing super coffee and my fresh food, etc. Meanwhile,
back in the real world, the stock market crashed and had the worst day
since July 2020 Dow sheds 1,700 points. S&P 500 and Nasdaq have worst day since 2020 on tariff worries.. It looks like the Trump procession has officially started. It looks like

we go through some bullshit. I read somewhere that this economy is like the going be like the Covid economy without the Covid! I did read some info from UPS where I have my retirement

savings. You know this is the money that’s supposed to get me into the home if I need to go so I need to live to at least 85 to get my money
back. I’m afraid so I have to pretend

I don’t have the money to keep me sane! Anyhow, I went to Mary’s and we decided to go to the school River Trail and walk up there.

We made it all the way up to the behind the art museum near the statue of Marquis de Lafayette. It was a nice long walk for sure. Got a few good

pictures in there and you could see the Philadelphia where Mike used to live. It’s a good day for a walk, a lot of people out walking

and riding bikes. It was 76° when I arrived at Mary’s Well, we finished the trail and ordered from Royal Indian came back

home and watch Conan visiting Greenland, which was very entertaining. It was 7:47 PM. It’s time for me to catch the 7️⃣ bus to my CODA meeting,

which I haven’t been to in a couple weeks. The bus came exactly when Google told me it was. It was a little late, but that was fine with me. It’s very nice
out right now. well, I went to a meeting and it was very interesting. We talked about boundaries internal and external
boundaries. We did a reading and it was very thought-provoking. I must say. It makes me think about what I’ve been thinking about for a while,

wanting the approval of certain people, but having the feeling that I never really get it. Anyway, it’s very nice at it, but I’m cool

enough that I can wear my winter coat and my long sleeve shirt while others have shorts and T-shirts it’s very odd I must say. It’s 947. It’s nice to know that I already ate and ready to go back to the Dorchester. I did try to call a couple people and they were indisposed so so ends another Thursday.
