Monday, September 16: Last Day at LBI

After trying to fit two adults in a children’s bed we gave up on that idea and I just crashed on one of the other beds at Dave’s place. I slept

very well after that. We got up and loaf and then we went out to breakfast at the place. That we went to before we went to Long Beach Island. I really forget the

place right now. I had pancakes and Mary I believe had an omelette of some sort. She had 2 cups of coffee.
☕️ I had one cup and a coffee was very good and the service was

really good. They were pretty busy considering it was a random Monday in the middle of September. The atmosphere in the island so chill this time compared to less traffic

and all that stuff. We took her sweet time with breakfast and then decided we weren’t gonna make it to Yoga today. It would be too much of a rush. Anyway, after breakfast, I decided

we would go to Holgate. We checked out Holgate , we met this woman who was very talkative a little strange. She seemed like she was going through some trauma couple times I thought

she was gonna cry. She was nice enough but a little odd. She asked Mary’s age so that tells you enough. Anyway, she did point out where the  Place was

where people trailers and stuff I didn’t think there any left after hurricane Sandy, but there are a few there’s one RV place in the whole whole gate. There was interesting.

We drove by and I think I took a couple videos there. Anyway, we thought of going to, but it was closed for a 5 to 10 minute break I think at least that’s what the sign look like.  After that, we just decided to go back to clean

up and double check the cleaning of day. We did find a little bit of sand so it was a good thing that Mary swept up. We locked up the place and headed out slowly off the island. Smoothly, but the thing was it mapped had a

faster route home, which is basically 73 to , Betsy Ross 95. I know it was kind of a weird way to get home. Eventually got back to Mary. She picked up the stuff and the rental car place at 1325 Art St. That was a strange

ride, but I got to talk to a couple people on the way and Mike’s guy that replaced me is , no threat to my job which was good. Anyhow
I dropped off the car and walked back to Mary’s and just picked up some
Indian food. About the same time we get back after 5:30 class so worked out pretty well. We’re going to  watch a movie called brother where art thou. Eagles are playing Monday night

football tonight as well. I guess the Atlanta Falcons at home , my brother David and his

family are going to the game in West was invited to the game. Will the

Eagles completely choked in that game bad loud Atlanta to score the end of the game it was just ugly and no reason to lose that game.

Sunday May 12: Mother’s Day in Media

This morning I woke up after having a little bit of a struggle getting to sleep

. I got up and Dave said he wanted me there between 10 and 1030 so I got there around 10:15. I was a little early supposedly I guess I heard him wrong but anyway Dave picked
me up downtown medium. We went ahead and picked up my mom.we then drove down to the diner and to be expected on Mother’s Day. The diner was packed. We had about a half

hour wait and then it took a while to get her food, but it was fine. I

have some pancakes and Dave and mom had lunch specials so that was good. Mom

enjoyed the time spent away and out amongst the Public. We got her flowers and I got her a little jewelry case from Amsterdam. We then dropped mom off
at the Riddle Village and they said he needed some help with the condo so we that’s where we went. we got to the condo and Dave had part of the rug removed between the kitchen and

the entrance to the place. There was a nice looking parquet floor

underneath Dave to get the rest of the staples out of the floor and I swept up afterwards, asked to buy it. I slightly

declined. I did, however, ask for what those six boxes were laying

in the guest room and they were all of mom‘s photo albums she had so I volunteered to

digitalize the photographs at some point and bring gigantic boxes back to my apartment and

figure out how the hell to do it. So I’m already putting feelers out for that. When I

got home
, I immediately wanted to sleep . First day had a little bite to eat and then took a two hour nap. That was pretty damn good. After that, I ate Pat came over and we hung out. I talked to Mary about various topics all good. So it was a good day of rest .

Friday, October 20: Morning @ Rittenhouse Square and Jo

Well, on this blog, you can no longer save it on pending. You have

to just save it. Otherwise we’ll just disappear. Seems to be one of the new things

they ended on the blog. Anyway, I got up this morning and Rittenhouse Square

was very lovely. The rain that had fallen stopped probably around six in the

morning way before I got up. I had some coffee with some almond milk

that was good and then I walked to Mike’s. On the way I took the 17 bus

That was going down 19th or 18th and that speed it up the trip a little

bit. I’ve been did errands for Mike and the Rite Aid refrigerator still

don’t work. I did buy a couple super coffees and put them away. Anyway,

I had lunch after the errands which included going to Rite Aid and going to the bank. I then did my yoga, laundry, and Mike’s basement. It’s 6/4  aka 4 quarter

for each load for a washer and dryer.  it got done so that was cool. Mike had a therapy appointment at 2:30 so I didn’t get away from the premises so I hung out

in the step and looked at some stuff. It’s now 3:45 PM and I’m definitely running on the late side because I like to be in the yoga studio by 3:50 PM. Well, I got the class and there was

a new teacher. I’ve seen her behind the desk. She’s pretty good she was different.
She pointed out some things that I hadn’t heard before and that was

interesting. Afterwards we decided to go out and do takeout Indian at the nice Indian place on Locust. I love that area near the Dorchester.

It’s really nice very cool you know I’d love to rent an apartment around there but then again it’s probably way way overpriced. we went

to watch a movie at her place. It was called the birds the famous Alfred Hitchcock movie that takes place in California north of San Francisco. It was a pretty cool film. The color was really excellent. This was back in 1963. I was a mirror infant, I believe toddler probably I don’t know anyway that was pretty good. I left late and was late enough that stopped running at 12:21 PM so I had to catch the bus.
