Saturday, May 1: Cleaning Windows 🪟 Picking Up a Photograph and Meeting a Friend

I tried to wake up in time for the 8 o’clock men’s but I was way too tired. Also figured I needed the rest. Well when I did get up, Pat  was leaving for work like a  well disciplined
man that he is.  I looked out my bedroom window and realize how disgusting Lee dirty the windows are so I clean the window in my bedroom and then proceeded to clean the  The window in
the kitchen. Those two windows I use the most. I then looked at the front door that I exit the house and noticed how disgusting the screen
was. I took off the screen and cleaned the windows
I was going to try to wind up in the windows to clean them but they’re pretty well wedged tightly and I didn’t wanna break it. So I cleaned   the inside

nd the outside. There is so much dirt piled on the ledge. It look like somebody wanted to try to plant a little grass there it was so much dirt. I  decided that I wouldn’t put the screen back on. I was

nly able to get the screen off because I found some pliers. There’s no reason

4 the screen to bethere because the windows never get

opened anyway. I think Pat would
be amenable to that. I enjoy doing that and I never get in the mood. That’s the first time the windows have

been clean since I moved in two years ago. Lord knows how long it’s been since they’ve been cleaned. Well of course that made me late for my 12 o’clock pick up of my photograph

. Well I picked up my photograph and decided to walk up Locust Street between 13th and Broad Street. I just caught up on some of my blogging which was good

ecause I have been three or four days behind. I talked on the phone various times  along that way. I just need to find a public bathroom and then start planning

my trip to King of Prussia to meet my friend. Well, I didn’t find a public  bathroom but I may do. Mine are back in the 30s at JFK and catching

the 124 bus which took me right up to golf mills. It ran pretty well  and I arrived on time. We

went to the lemon and hung out for awhile. The weather
warmed up nicely. I then had a decaf coffee mellowed out for a while. I didn’t attempted to take the 124 back at 7:41 PM. The bus didn’t come show up at all and I was there in plenty of time and then I had to look up

here the The Norristown high-speed line wants to see if it was in walking distance. And lo and behold it was it was only nine minute walk  the same distance is from my place to 69th St. terminal.

ell this train supposed to take me right to 69th St. and then I can either just walk from 69th St. or catch the EL for one stop but I think I’ll just walk I’ll just be glad to get my ass home. Want to

o that I  ave some business to attend to then I hope I can relax after that. The weather was very ideal

. Warm during the day and cozy at night.

Sunday, April 29: A Cool and Sleepy Day in a Subdued Mind

Well I thought I made a start to today’s blog posting but I can’t find it. Iprobably

fell asleep or forgot to save it which is very unusual usually I’m pretty anal about saving when I write. Anyhow, I woke up really drowsy. I
slept very well but I was really drowsy when I got up. I then got up and caught

he two bus up Broad Street and then caught the 9:43 AM train to Ardmore train

tation. I was supposed to meet them at 10:30AM I arrived at Nudy‘s Café early

nd worked on getting A table early so wouldn’t have much of a wait. I decided to get a table after I

aw Donna and Charlie turn the corner. I took a table & they showed up.  I

had some really tasty pancakes which I gobbled up pretty quickly. I don’t have

ancakes and scrapple often so I don’t think that’s a problem

with my diet. Anyhow we talked for a while and had a nice time. Charlie is a cool dude. Need some sex and dating tips from that man for sure!. It seems

to be in the world that it’s mind over matter I suppose. I’m looking

forward to visiting his part of the world. She may be moving up there at the

nd of the year. To work for the state until then. Anyhow after breakfast I
ook a really intense nap. And then hung out with Wes since he did call me. We ended up going to Saxbys and hanging out for a bit. We then went to a meeting up
t 22nd and Spruce. That  as pretty good we then saw the moon movie about Itzhak Perlman. The movie was called Itzhak. I liked it it was nice and high brow and fun. I didn’t know much

bout him. Wes really wanted to see it so we did and we had lots of popcorn it was a nice
time. He stated that we need to get together once a week. We’ll see if we can do that

Sunday May 7: Backing up Files on a Cool Grey day

Thanks  Good one everybody out there in Internet land. It's a cool spring   ay in early May. I first got up at 5 AM to start the   rought back up process with the dropbox. I was up @ 5:00 AM  with  trying to get this to work. As of 6:51 PM, the files were downloaded  but now they're "syncing" to to the cloud. according   to my old Toshiba
omputer will be anywhere from 5 to 7 hours before it's all done. I   hought maybe I'd be giving Pat his computer back today  but I think it's going to wait till Tuesday or Wednesday at this rate. I would have   o bring the computer to work and then go straight to pats house to make it a logical transition. It's been it almost a week since I have   een over to his place so I feel ready to have more Indian food and watch another movie.
As for today in the present, landed up getting up at 9 AM I threw on some clothes and heading down to the clubhouse on Fairmount Avenue. Actually got a seat after getting coffee at the OCF Coffee House. After I went there, I walked back home and hung out with Sharon and we talked for a bit. I then went upstairs to double check on my files. They were moving right along. I had a bowl of cereal and decided I would take a nap about 1 o'clock. Well when I woke up at 4 o'clock I was so drowsy I don't know what time it was. Well in the world around me, France 🇫🇷 had its 2nd round of it's presidential election. The French elected the MODERATES Elliot Machon. He won in a landslide. Thanks to France 4 not being stupid like the US and the U.K. That's a relief for sure!! Well after feeling groggy, Sharon and I decided we would walk bishop the dog. She has walked the dog many times and I was just interested in walking because I needed to get out of the house and it wasn't raining outside. The dog is really sweet and then we had a nice mellow time hanging out. After that I headed towards the meeting with the  48 bus. I went to pick up the key that I had lost when I lost my jacket. I saw Larry and Veronica at the Saxbys Coffee. I went back and there were already two guys there to help out. To setting up pretty easy meeting with decent except three people took 90% of the time. I had a good talk about a Friday and Wednesday night meetings without one on. I then attempted to catch the seven touch with didn't show up so I got the 48 bus at 10:10 PM. I ended up with a very late dinner. The computer is still working on thinking all the photos that I have.
