I woke up this morning after having a pretty good night sleep I got the Mike’s around 8:50 AM. My Amazon delivery is supposed to
shop between eight and 10 showed up at 8:16 AM and the guy just decided to take back my order and not delivery. He tried to call but I didn’t get the call for some reason so I have to re-order
and wait 3 to 5 business days to get my money back. That was a bummer but what can you do sometimes Amazon just takes it upon themselves. Anyway, I took Mike’s phone to get repaired, but they gave
me an initial price of $80. Mike told me not to go any more than $40 so he’s still gonna go out without a phone the whole weekend. Next, I got
back and we had to get a ride to the Chi eye Institute, which is near Presbyterian Hospital in West philly. So his appointment was about an hour and a half. That was sure, but the next appointment is going to
be a lot longer next Monday right when I’m getting my teeth done, but he has two tests and a doctors appointment at the same time so that’s
kind of gonna be kind of a pain in the ass but there you go you’re now waiting for the ride to come in. We’re very fortunate the ride actually came in. Of course they didn’t let us know on my phone but he
showed up thank God we got the ride so we got back here and we both had lunch. Tony, the physical therapist came right after that and I talked
to my sister Alice. Tony session went pretty well. Lynn and Dave invited us to see the movie Frankenstein somewhere in old city. I don’t know which theater but we’re gonna see that so we can’t linger around
the Yoga studio forever as we usually like to do. It’s now 3:36 PM getting ready to leave Mike’s. He still has no phone, but he’s in decent spirits so there’s that. The doctor
did determine Mike has cataracts and that’s what all the testing is going to be done Monday for three hours. I also have
to go to a dentist appointment so I have to split to go to that. We both went to Miah‘s class and it was held on the fourth floor and in the attendance was very low. The room wasn’t all that hot and I had
balanced problems throughout.. Mary and I are invited out to join Linda and Dave
to see the movie “Frankenstein.“ Boy that movie was intense, great cinematography, and it definitely was pretty long too. We enjoyed our company with
Linda and Dave and we took the 42 bus Back to 19th St. and we got off and cut through Rittenhouse Square. Then Maryann and I had our Cuban bowls, which were delicious.
Today I woke up and it was pouring rain outside, so I knew I had to prepared and get an umbrella and eat, etc. It is raining pretty steadily
out and I knew I had to get the Mike’s not too late because I was going to Rehab. Well, I got the Mike’s and my Amazon delivery of lemonade showed up. It actually showed up yesterday unfortunately
somebody brought it in. Once it Rehab, I saw Bell who’s my Thursday person and a guy who was starting New at the place observing. I did OK
and most of the exercise but there’s one where I have to reach over to my left with my right hand and I’m really restricted
there so they’re gonna take notes on that but overall they did see some improvement. I then took
the 64 bus. They didn’t make me wait that long about six minutes. Once I got back to Mike’s, I ate an early lunch because the nurse was coming sometime around 11 AM. The nurse came it wasn’t
a cold but another nice person. Anyhow, after that was done it was time for me to go out and walk to 20th and Chestnut to the phone repair place
o try to get Mike’s phone repaired and if not at least get him a mouse so I got him a wireless mouse, but the phone wouldn’t boot up all the way for him to see the model number so we couldn’t repair
it and the only replacement Phone was a galaxy seven which was $225. They’re up to galaxy 10 now I think. So Mike has to call the wireless place and order a new phone again! Again! Mike told him
the bad news but got him his mouse. Mayor wrote back into does he have an online receipt and lo and behold? We decided to look and he had bought the last phone on eBay for like 120 bucks approximately.
So I have a photograph of what type of phone it is so maybe I’ll have time tomorrow morning to check if it can be fixed and if the repair costs
more than 100 bucks it’s probably not worth getting it repaired. Of course I started to pack up in the last minute and had to do last-minute
stuff and I almost forgot my umbrella. The sun broke out and it’s now 3:51 PM. I’m just about to turn at Sanden get ready to sign up to go to class. I already signed up for it. Well, I went to Shalice’s class and the room was very humid
Aand warm. It was a very good class but very intense. She did go through the paces and it was a fast paced class which helped. Afterwards, I was sweating and really exhausted. But after rest, I felt a lot better. I had a feeling. I definitely wanted to take a
nap before going to the CODA meeting and then that’s what I did both Mary and I napped and we had a talk and I had it off to the CODA meeting. The meeting was pretty good. I had some Halloween
treats made up by folks. They were all apple oriented, apple crisps and etc.. I had a little bit, but I didn’t want to spoil my appetite. There was a business meeting, but just didn’t have it in me to stay late so I
left and I took the 49 bus which came in time despite all the yellow buses, taking people from the prison which has a holiday event for the whole month of October into November. Anyhow, I went to the store afterwards and picked
up some stuff. People are raving about Pierre Robert and this guy name is Katt. You struck out 12 Dodgers and me Shohei Ohtani look like a fool striking out and there’s a picture of it. That’s become very famous already.
