Well today I woke up after only really sleeping about three hours. I woke up with a very funny dream which I shared on Threads for the hell of it. It was pretty goddamn funny I thought anyway, I got up feeling pretty tired and met Debbie to go to Pilates. I didn’t know what to expect so when I got the class, she talked “classic Pilates.“ The teacher was a middle-age woman who had taught the class before. We start off nice and slow, which was nice. I hadn’t done Pilates in a while and I noted that it was a lot of core work, but I guess that’s what Pilates is about anyway. It was a lot more slow and deliberate than the hot Pilates at the Hot Yoga Philadelphia studio. Debbie let me her one of her mats and she got me in as a guest and I saved 25 bucks so which is cool. Anyway, I came back to the condo and Alice had the AC up to 11 and I was damp and cold and I needed a shower something serious so I took a shower and ate some breakfast. That felt good. I sat with Mary in the back, cause it was too cold in the apartment. After breakfast, I just needed a nap something fierce so I took a nap for about 35 minutes. Mary joined me and it was very pleasant. I really needed that nap to get me moving and grooving. Alice went to the gym and she said she really enjoyed the gym and she felt a lot better. Alice decided she would go to the Maritime museum with Dave which sounded really boring to me. Mary and I went back to the Bay village and I enjoyed it. I guess I’m an old geezer. I enjoyed just walking around looking at stuff. We look for Jim shorts didn’t find any that were under $40 and fit. We did find a nice T-shirt and I had 2️⃣ iced coffees. Mary Sue called us about the Reiki classy teaching on July 30. We were on the phone for for at least 15 minutes as we walked back towards Dave’s world in. Beach Haven. Meanwhile, Alice went kayaking with Dave and enjoyed it herself very much. Then decided we would go out to dinner towards the end the other end of theisland and towards Barnegat and then we figured out Kubel’s is up there the original Kubel’s Too, which used to be to DeFritea’s, was closed down in the building, was reduced the rubble and cleared out for some kind of parking lot for now. Anyhow, we decided to eat there. Mary took a nap and Alice showered. I didn’t wanna nap because I was afraid it would spoil my sleep tonight. I need to sleep better than I did last night for sure. Reiki class of Mary Sue is August 30. We would be level one Reiki teachers, which is kind of bizarre iclass of Mary Sue is August 30. We would be level one Reiki teachers, which is kind of bizarre in my mind but we’re doing this for a sales but also to help a friend out who’s wanting to get way into Rick and B ranking master. It’s now almost 8 o’clock. We’re gonna go out to leave for dinner around 8:15. They stopped serving dinner at 9:30 PM. Well, it was cloudy today, but it managed not to rain! We went to Kubel’s. We chow down we had chicken wings and we were all so damn hungry. We are two rounds of chicken wings. Mary had the jambalaya and I had a meal can’t pronounce which was pasta and it was really good. We all very much enjoyed our dinner. We were all very hungry. By the time we were finished we were one of the last people left in the bar restaurant. There was one person left at the bar itself. We then got back. They were ready to go to bed. Yes, we were.
Hello boys and girls Mary and I are hanging out in Poway. We got up slowly very slowly then she got out of the house around 10:15 AM Pacific daylight time. We are both kind of jetlagged and Alice was understanding of that and is just letting us do our own thing and wake up slowly. I got to see Becky and her old car that she actually had shipped from Hawaii. It’s a 2013 Corolla. Anyhow, Mary and I were thinking of walking to the target getting some coffee doing a little bit shopping. Then we realized Mary forgot her phone and realized maybe we should just drive over there drive and we did that we drove to the target. Man oh man, we went to the Starbucks there and they had one table so we immediately seized on it as soon as we could because that’s the only table in the whole place. Later on someone told me that they removed all the tables due to Covid and use the remaining seating spaces where to put orders and they’re still keeping it up and we’re already in 2026 in the midpoint of 2026. Anyhow, we indulge in some delicious breakfast Muffins breakfast sandwich sandwiches with English muffins and then started shopping and that was an experience. That store is being ripped apart towards the back end of the store. All the drinks are all over the place and you have construction going on. We need to keep asking employees where stuff was I thought even indulging in shopping at Amazon. Anyhow, we got things that we actually needed. Mary found her a portable bag she could use for packing and she’s looking at knee braces and comparing suitcases. Anyhow, we finally finished shopping around 2 PM and we ordered another set of iced coffees and headed back to Alice’s place in Poway. I’m now sitting in the back just collecting some sun because it’s a beautiful day and Alaska will not look like this believe me. It’s mostly cloudy and cooler. That’s what we saw on the weather forecast that we looked at yesterday Alice made final plans to rent the car for Long Beach Island and Maryann. I owe $227 which is a lot better than the $450 that Hertz tried to charge. They wanted to rip off Alice like they tried to rip us off with their $3700 price tag for two weeks. We had to go to Enterprise just like she did. I ended up doing my own thing. Well, after you get back from target, Mary & I mellowed out to the max. I sat outside in the sun. Mary took a nap and I had some snacks. Then we went to the YMCA and did a little bit of swimming in the sauna, which was really relaxing. Then straight from there we went to a place called Ruby’s, which was a really good little Mexican restaurant. That was fun. Becky and Mimi joined us for the dinner which was fun.
