Sunday, June 18: 3rd Day in Poway 🥉

This morning I woke up around 9:45 AM and slowly got ready for breakfast. Alice cooked us some eggs and vegetables and toast and that was very

good. It was nice to break away from the usual monster bowl of cereal. I made myself some coffee, and Alice and I talked a while, and Did a little bit of tidying up afterwards.

Alice did all these dishes and we talked for a while. We couldn’t decide what we wanted to do because both of us were pretty tired and relaxed. We’re going to go out somewhere and either kayak or not kayak nearby. It’s a beautiful

day and it seems like it’s better out here than it would be on the coast. It’s more likely to be cloudy down there.  I finished up yesterday’s blog post about Mimi’s graduation party that took some work because there’s

a ton of pictures. It’s now 2:15 PM bird bout to get ready to go to Alice’s yacht club and fix a flat tire in one of her trailers and then either go kayaking or just sit and hang out. Good nice

sunny day and she found the gun pro hat that I thought I lost it but I found that, so I put my vaccinated out Republican hat in my backpack, so I know to save. that We then both cleaned up and went to the mission Bay yacht club. We arrived there around 3 o’clock and we’re having lunch late lunch and then we’re

going to probably go kayaking soon after. Well it’s 5:19 PM and we basically sat around and I read the New York Times and you read a book and

also the New York Times review of books which is basically political stuff and murders. Anyhow, it’s pretty cool out here.
I don’t know if I wanna go kayaking Cuz. I don’t think I’m warm enough but maybe I’m just being an old geez. Well, we got home around 8 PM and Alice went

off to do a rounds and I cooked up some pasta and talked on the phone. it was a pretty relaxing day overall.

Sunday, February 19: Cleaning My Place, Filing Taxes & Ardmore

This morning I had to get up in a rush to get a ride to the ATM so I

could pay for the house cleaner. I successfully did that and barely got
back home in time via Uber. Anyway, she came in and I figured while she was getting stuff done that I would start my taxes. well I looked up and I don’t have to claim taxes

on the refund that I got from the city of Philadelphia. Is it because I didn’t itemize deductions I

have an itemized deductions for 10 years at least. I also could get a refund for 2022 tax year from the city because they took out 2000 bucks from my

paycheck. I found out I got a $620 refund. That’s better than nothing for but it was awfully close because I have to change my tax situation with the

Commonwealth because they’re taking out 50 bucks less next a

year for no apparent reason and I can’t don’t think the standard deductions

changing. I got the length and then we went for a walk. It was a nice night for a walk. It’s a seasonably cold and a nice sunset
going on. Extra cooking up some Indian dinner. It is now 6 o’clock. making me watch doc Martin. I got some funny text messages that I just had to look at. I managed to catch the bus on time to get home.

Sunday January 15: Church w/ Mom and Ardmore Keys

I got up around 9:30 AM this morning. I need some breakfast. I knew that Wes was coming over to drive me to my mom‘s place at the Riddle Village. We then we’re

going to go to church at the Blessed Virgin Mary church or BVM for short. Wes was right on time at 11 o’clock and then we drove down via West Chester Pike and Route one to the Riddle Village.

We picked up mom and went straight to the church. We made it there with about five minutes to spare before the noon start of the service. The service wasn’t too bad. The

priest mumble a little bit, but  it wasn’t bad at all really. We then went to the Court diner, which is the diner we usually go to in media. Food was very tasty

and I liked it. I had pancakes and scrapple. I do like that my scrapple once in a while. But I’m enjoying her meal and we enjoyed each other‘s company. Wes is able to find a handicap

spot right in front of the place. I made it convenient to go there. It was pretty crowded. We got a nice seat.  Afterwards we dropped off mom with the flowers

at West water and I went to Trader Joe’s and Wes drop me off and I picked up some Indian packet lunches which were about half the price of the ones I

get it Amazon. So I’m going to try to stock up then then I did I  went there and got out of there pretty quickly considering how packed it was on Sunday. I went to the one in suburban

Square. Next he dropped me to Rite Aid to pick up some shaving did it or leave a did it or leave it cream and I got some floss and a Pepsi as well.
It’s on 316. I’ve got to get going now. Anyhow, got to Ardmore and that worked out very nicely took care of some business and then we went on a nice walk. It was pretty
cold, but we were ready for the cold end and I was singing songs and stuff. Anyhow, we watched doc marten, and then I got some eardrops put in me, which I think

started to help. I brought back some food and got a ride back which was good.
