Good day everyone. Today it was five years ago, January 6, 2021 when Trump instigated an insurrection as the 2020 election was being certified.
I remember being at work at home and watching David Pakman report on it live I was mesmerized and just quietly shocked by what was going on. They didn’t arrest the people right away. They
let everyone go and then they chased them all down just for Trump to end up pardoning all the fuckers when he got into office for a second time this past
January. Anyway, I woke up got dressed headed to Mike’s. Got there before the nurse did the nurse came and then I had to run off to DM Medical to get a blood draw. They said it was the last time I’ll have
to make a formal visit to the office the rest of the time I’ll be reporting via online app or a phone call. It’s 11:50 AM I’m about to have lunch. Hopefully I’ll get Mike to
do his exercise before I leave today. I have to leave early because I have an appointment with Dr. Nala where I have to be there by 3:05 PM. I will
not be doing any yoga today due to this appointment. I had lunch and the occupational therapist showed up and walked in the door and we didn’t know
she was coming, cause she kept calling Mike’s number fortunately Tony gave her the code to the key, and Mike did some exercises with her. Mike took a nap and then we did. He did some walks
back-and-forth. It’s now 2:37 PM. It’s pretty cloudy out here and I’m good and ready to Uber out to this appointment because I don’t feel like
walking 20 minutes to my appointment. I’m gonna try to sign in and sign out not as early if I could help myself. I’m going to see Dr. Nylla about
my shoulder. We really had to work hard to get this appointment. well, I went with LIFT to wait and save and the driver was picked up very quickly and it was only a six minute wait. I left around 2:50 PM and
signed out. I’m heading to Dr. Nylla‘s appointment. They want you there at 3:05 I’ll get there at 3:05 PM approximately. I’m gonna meet
Mary there as well. We’re gonna go over my left shoulder and maybe both shoulders while we’re at it. I arrived at 3:02 PM and I had to check in with the redundancy machine a.k.a. they’re checking in computer. This
even though I did the pre-check on my phone. The redundancy is pretty amazing. Mary isn’t quite here yet, but my appointment isn’t until 3:20 PM, but they want you to come 10 minutes early so I can look at the walls and play with my phone and shit. I’m good at that. I saw Dr. Nala today. Took off my shirts and showed her the winging that’s going on on my left side. We had a very frank discussion
about the whole thing. She’s going refer me to neurology. In the meantime, she’s gonna give me gabapentin for the nerve pain at night and I am scheduled
for a EMG. The closest appointment was March 9 at 8 AM. She was a useless schedule the rehab so I have to call the rehab place the same place I went to before and get that scheduled. She didn’t see any needfor an MRI or a or an ultrasound. But we are in there for a while and it’s just the same thing it’s gonna be a slug. Mary joined me and asked their own questions. So now I have to schedule for neurology
which you have to call because there’s no available appointments on the system rehab which is available very soon, but I don’t know when the schedule an EMG is scheduled for Monday, March 9 at 8 AM. We left Jefferson and walked to Mom’s market at 11th and Ludlow. Got some burgers, salsa and sprouts for tonight‘s dinner. We then went to CVS picked up a couple items and then went back to
the Dorchester. Why were we there? We decide to have dinner early because we didn’t have yoga and I also have choir practice at 7:00 PM. 🍔 . I then got notice my prescription was ready
at the CVS on 15th and Spruce so I had to leave Mary’s early at around 6:30 PM to go walk CVS and then walk back to resurrection. So succeed in doing that and got here around 6:55 PM here at the
resurrection Church. I also got notification in my items mailed to Hurley Court. Made it. I just wanted to have some kind of food so that worked out. Today, West cold but not frigid
cold like it has been it’s starting to warm up a little bit. But my chiropractor was pretty good today. I must say. Dan was in a good mood and mostly everybody showed up. It was held at the resurrection church, which is at 17th and Sansom, which is a lot closer. Generally, it’s a good thing but today I had to pick up my script for the gabapentin for nerve pain. Tonight, I’m going to
This morning, I hit the off button to my alarm instead of the snooze button at 7:30 AM. Next thing you know I popped up awake at 9 AM. I quickly
got dressed contacted Uber and went to Mike’s. I was pretty damn late, but I got there just before Nichole showed up.
Nicole went over Mike’s pills and then she left. Next thing you know it Mike’s Sister Marley called and states that she was coming over real soon. Mike had to get dressed and she showed up around 11:00 AM. Mike
got down the steps and one fell swoop, but he was purely exhausted getting into the car. She’s taking him out to lunch. I’m glad she showed up early. I then went to the Health south pharmacy on South Street to pick
up Mike’s Ridellan I went back there dropped it off and I’m heading to the bank to deposit a check. The other sister wrote back. The sisters are helping this year. It’s almost like a Christmas miracle. Today is
frigid cold! Well, I deposited Mike’s check and then decided I would walk up to DM Medical figuring I had time. Right before I got the DM Medical
Mike called that he was finished eating with the sister so I told him I had to resolve this issue. I got the DM Medical and they made me wait 15 minutes.
A woman finally came down and resolve the issue. I was very fortunate southbound train came just as I was coming down. It’s now 12:38 PM going
to meet Mike and then eat lunch. Well, I met up with Mike and his sister and helped Mike up the steps. They ended up going through a drive
through at McDonald’s and driving around the city as an exploring trip. Mike enjoyed it cause he got the seat. Parts of the city hasn’t seen in
a while. He also didn’t have to get up and force himself to walk and stuff. I ended up eating lunch and that was pretty well as well. I just stayed
inside for the rest of the day cause I was walking around outside was a bit exhausting. I just wanted to stay warm. The temperature is supposed to moderate over the next couple of days we’re gonna
have rain on Thursday. It’s 3:23 PM. I just updated this blog and now it’s time for me to get ready for my 4 PM yoga class with Tina. Tina‘s class
was very good as usual. She gave me a slight correction in my head and knee pose today which I needed. It really made a difference. That that pose is really intense. After class, Mary and I hung up and hung
out and on the fourth floor after we hung our mats up and then we got dressed and headed out back to the door Chester I offloaded my clothes and put in my choir stuff and headed out
to choir practice. This choir practice will be the last practice at the William Way center since it is closing officially this Thursday. It’s pretty cold.
Fortunately the wind is slight is slight so that’s good. Well, practice was very thorough and intense because this is the last rehearsal we have for
the next 2️⃣ weeks for the holidays. Then we only have a few more practices such as Saturday, January 10. I believe that’s a date. They are practice files. I should probably review those. We had a shortened break because since the place is closing, they needed help moving stuff
out and throwing them out because the William Way center is closed, but they’ll be getting funding so it may reopen in a year or two I don’t know exactly. I got to the Indian restaurant, Royal Indian
and the 20% discount only when you order online I guess we didn’t read it all the way through so oh well it’s now 10:05 PM my battery’s down to 6%. Tuesday nights
are awfully busy that’s for sure but I get two next 2️⃣ weeks off from choir practice. And I get to eat Indian food and watch Law and order with the best woman in the world. Anyhow, that’s it for this day. This is the way it goes in 2025.
