Good day! today is Weds April 10 and it was the hottest day this spring thus far. I stayed up too late watching "FAIL" videos. last night so I didn't go to the meeting. I went to work and I worked pretty hard and stayed late to clean up some paperwork I was behind on. I was behind because I was out on vacation AND there was a mass termination done by the job program called the Earn Center last week. After work, I Lebanese cuisine at Alyan's on 4th and South. Boy, that is some tasty food. I love sitting in the back when there is nobody there, such a mellow mood.  I then caught up to Patrick around 9:30 after he rescues someone with a busted bike. This man will forever be a mystery to those who might see him among the masses.

The Republicans have become a radical party not a Conservative one. This will be verified when the President's 2014 budget is considered. President Obama is offering the "chained CPI" in exchange for closing tax loopholes and eliminating some tax deductions for the wealthiest Americans. I am sure the President is not really for the chained CPI, he knows that the Republicans will NOT agree to his budget and this will put the Republicans in a corner. I think its a smart move.

I had some WIFI problems for 2 days this week. I was able to use an "unprotected" network to go in the web and stuff. It somehow just corrected itself and and is now working fine. When I went to the Windows Troubleshooter, I got this error message.

In other computer news, HP has returned my Laptop. They only replaced the motherboard and did not JUST send a new one. The jerks. I generally find if a gadget like a computer is faulty, THE ENTIRE contraption tends to be faulty! Oh well, at least I did not pay for that repair BUT I will be paying the technician who has been working with HP to get my laptop fixed for the past month! GOD knows how much I owe him now. Testing I had to reinstall my Dragon dictation software because it wouldn't come up so now I'm testing it for efficiency while the rain pours down here in Sarasota Florida at 12:24 PM to go on some kind of visit after emails are written and blogs are updated.

Meanwhile back in the real world of 40 degree temps. I got an email from HP showing the status of my computer. This computer has been busted since March 11 2013. It was mailed to HP 2 weeks ago. It y will take them until April 16th to fix the computer. They could have been decent people and just sent back a new computer. I guess they need to keep their jobs

Are We Not Comcast? We Suck!

My friends are having problems with Comcast. They have to go to Comcast and cut off service. No TV NOR WiFI either!! DAMN!!
Well, here is my salute to Comcast. They suck in Florida too! Isn't that just fantastic???
We went to the local Comcast service center and my friends had to turn in their their cable equipment due to their regulations . After waiting 20 minutes, we went to an Indian Resturant near Linda and Ned's place. The service wad slow BUT the food was TTtasty!
It was tiring day and were going tomorrow is the last day here in the sunshine State of Florida. yes, it's 930 i I want to get a good night sleep because we are driving back early Saturday! on Saturday. Tomorrow, is packing day for Linda and Ned I hope to hit a meeting and hit the beach if the weather is nice enough.

Well yesterday was an interesting day as you heard computer broke and my friend is staying at a hotel Hilton right on 42nd walnut pretty pretty deluxe. its $239 per night! I went to 3 meetings and I to chilled out with Drew at the same hotel. We had some Pizza. it was a nice warm day yesterday. I wish the blogger app would allow me to import pictures from my phone so I can put photos in this blog entry. As it stands, I would have to borrow someone's computer to get photos. it Larry's cousin seems to think it's a hard drive or the motherboard so it's really done.

No Parking Ticket!

I bought a used Windows computer for $136.00. I wanted to have both major operating systems since Apple seems to limit me. I am more used to Windows plus Windows computers are disposable. This HP Compaq C 6400 cost $1500 when it was new!

 I had my Colonoscopy Weds.They found polyps but just a couple. I will find out details next week. Dr was not overly concerned.

I signed up for TD Bank. They have a branch and ATM's close by. I am getting KILLED by the ATM fees at Chase. They have NO BRANCHES near Philly!!! Can you believe it. To cash checks, I had to drive 45 min just to get to the CLOSEST branch near Trenton NJ...,!!

Need Cloud Storage: Computer Down!

My sound on my computer has been dead for about 2 weeks now. I messed with the sound settings and had 2 intellegent friends, who were visiting yesterday, update the Bios, the drivers  and reboot. The sound worked with the earphone jack but NOT the speakers.
I then called India er....HP tech support. They were nice enough. I had to wipe my hardrive clean in recovery. I am now going to have to send the computer back to HP for repair which will take 3 weeks or close to Christmas to return. This computer was bought on June 26 2012. ITS LESS THEN 6 MONTHS OLD!!! At least I am under warranty for the next 200 days!!
