What is Life: Exhausting!

Good morning. Its Friday and I got paid. I have money for a moment. I am planning a trip on the 315 with a friend and we will hang our friend who drives the 313 bus to Cape May. We leave at 5:30 and it should be fun.

Wake Up

Last night I had a good conversation with a friend who suggested that I am overdoing it with meetings etc. I know she is right. I need to give myself a break and it needs to start now. I am just tired and exhausted. There is more to all that but a blog is really not the place. Call me, we can talk :)

The Undecided Voter

One thing my Conservative friends and I can agree on is what is up with the UNDECIDED VOTER?? Hello! Anybody home? I mean lets get real here and use the brains that God has given us (OK most of us..).  After all the cries of Obama being a Kenyan Socialist who is going to take your freedom and Romney being a bumbling bully who changes positions for political gain, you can't decide BY NOW??
Take an issue..any issue and take 10 minutes to compare President Obama and Governor Romney. They are very different. OK, if it makes it simpler for you, compare the platforms of the 2 major political parties.
I want to share a comment on a blog I read this morning. Like me the auther is just beside himself on how ANYONE can be still undecided:

Political campaigns, both Democrats and Republicans, recent obsession with these complete and utter dolts, who probably couldn’t locate their anus with a GPS and haven’t a modicum of political and worldly wherewithal, is where the real outrage should be. Moreover, even after President Obama cited the first piece of legislation he signed was the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act–the very thing that is designed to give women fair pay (Hello?!!) and that Romney refused to acknowledge if he supports it but instead went on some creepy and misleading tale of keeping ladies in binders–that this woman still isn’t sure who to support is everything that is wrong with America. Catering to the lowest common denominator in entertainment is infuriating and the bane of my existence, but doing it when it comes to choosing the person who will have access to the nuclear launch codes is unconscionable.

“You know, I still find that I’m undecided because I was so grateful for that opportunity yesterday and I heard a lot of really wonderful responses and points but at the same time, a lot of the questions were kind of danced around more than answered explicitly,” she said. “So, like, I can’t say I’ve come out with a preference for either side.” (Gawker)

This is yet another reason why we really need to force voters to take IQ tests.

I agree! Forget VOTER ID, test the IQ!

A Vexing Problem: A Simple Solution!

Good morning.I was in a bit of a panic I went on google Chrome and Apple Safari to go to Gmail and Blogger and I got a notice: THE SITE'S SECURITY CERTIFICATE HAS EXPIRED! in short, I could not  get my email on my laptop nor do any blogging. I then went to Google to see if there was a solution this this problem. Well, to my surprise
I just learned from a YouTube Video that my clock had today as Weds Oct 18 2045!! I changed the time and DAMN it worked! Now that was Simple


How did my clock get all whack and why did the error message not tell me this simple solution? Please let me know.

Obama v. Romney 2nd Debate: Media Spin

I watched the debate tonite and was heartened to see the President stand up like an awake man and push back against Gov. Mitt's B.S. It was spirited and the moderator Cindy Crawley did a pretty good job. She was not the strict school teacher like Martha Radditz but thankfully she was not the doddering push-over that that Jim Leaher was in the first debate.
Since it worked well for him, Mitt Romney played his aggressive role by interrupting and in general being  pushy. President Obama, stunned how he was PANNED by all for his last debate performance, showed some backbone and matched Gov Romney toe-to-toe on the issues. Here is an example of the President rebutting Gov. Romney on immigration.

Here is President Obama challenging Gov. Romney on his vague tax cut proposal:

This is a heated exchange about the terrorist attack on Benghazi Libya. Gov. Romney was hoping to get the President on foreign policy.

I am going to bet all the money I don't have that our corporate media will call it a draw and say President Obama did better. Well at 11:07 Pm on the NPR website this is the first statement about the debate from the NPR Website This is from a Frank James. I guess his is the moderator of this chat. Here goes!

All good things must come to an end and so must our live chat coverage of the second 2012 presidential debate. Such even-handedness. Aint that the job of the media in this United States, you know just treat politics as merely a sport. The media does the both are being agressive, forgeting that this agressiveness was begun by Governor Romney 2 weeks ago. Note that the media applauded Romney and busted on Obama in uniform fashion. The last quote is from Mediate. Its a website that captures the latest medial events of the current day. Here is the last paragraph of this story about FOX News reaction to the debate. Its very instructive of how the media attempts to frame the dabate. They do a pretty good job and folks do not know they are being manipulated. Check this out

If you favored one guy or another, you had plenty of proof. I thought Romney’s best moments were when he was laying out the record of the Obama administration on unemployments, on debt, on poverty, on median income. I thought Obama’s best moments were when he basically said Romney favors the rich, and he talked about the fact that he thinks it’s okay for him to pay 14% when a lot of middle-class people pay a lot lower, because, of course, Romney is paying capital gains taxes. Overall, my reaction, I think it certainly stopped the bleeding of the Obama campaign.

Well, I am for one glad that the media has declared that the bleeding stopped for President Obama. I mean the media was hoping that Vice-President Biden would act "crazy" for entertainment. Before October 3rd when President Obama fell flat the media was reporting that there was little movement in the 3-4 point lead held by the President. The media insiders ALSO bellowed that there were very few undecided voters. Well how then do you explain the 10% swing for Gov. Romney right after the October 3rd debate??

Next Step

Good day America. Its Tuesday and STILL stayed up past my bedtime. Time to turn it over in more ways then one. I hear the sound of water and the change of seasons. I now need to shower.
Work is getting harder and harder but I keep coming back. One good way to start the day. I am the best!

One Year Later

Route 408 friends

Good day. Its Monday October 15th 2012. This past weekend was the most West Philly fun I have had since I moved back here almost a year ago. Actually Sunday was fun West Philly day. I first met up with a friend I have not seen in about 10 years or so. She is a drummer and is the grooviest woman I know. She is doing well save for her knee which was injured in a bike accident in June. We had a fun time catching up and  getting some good laughs. It was like an acid flashback or as I might say a flaccid assback. It was like I wanted some Ass Bale with my Raisin Bran. I then saw my sponsor at the Abyssiniana at 45 and Locust. Saturday night met with friends in Pitman for dinner. Boy that was a grand ole time. Most of the crew made it.
Been making meeting and going downtown most days over the past 7 months.

I am now inspired by George Harrison. He was a seeking soul who was not afraid to breach self boundaries. Here is one of my favorites. I first remember this song back when I was a child going to LBI and playing the jukebox at Mayo's Half-Way House on Route 72. Its a great rockin tune with a positive message. I will be back.
