Monday, September 1: Mike and I have Covid

Well, good day everyone hope you’re all enjoying your holiday and your Covid and sick free. As for myself, I’ve got Covid. Yeah it seems to be an outbreak and goddamnit. I’m in the first wave. So far, besides Thursday’s extreme fever it’s milder than the version I got in 2022 when I went to Harrisburg and contracted it. It’s a very quiet Labor Day I got up with my bum shoulder and went to Mike’s tested Mike for Covid and now he has it. He tried to get a hold of his doctor so of course that didn’t happen on a holiday so it’s 1 PM and I’m in the emergency room atPennsylvania Hospital. I charged up my phone while waiting looking at talks about how Trump could die any moment. He does have the best healthcare. I don’t expect him to go anywhere anytime soon. It’s a lot of wishful thinking in my humble opinion. Anyhow, it’s a little after one right now and I just thought I’d take a walk around Washington Square cause it’s nice out and I got tired of sitting in the emergency room later. It’s good that I charge my phone up which was good. I decided to get a chicken cheesesteak while I was waiting for Mike at the emergency room that wasn’t too bad. I couldn’t make a decision, but I finally decided so. I went back in the room. Watch some John Oliver on YouTube. Next thing you know Mike was discharged from the emergency room. We just got back to his house. It’s 3:00 PM. We’re about to go up the steps. Well, killed the rest of the afternoon got Mike set up made the bed and then got ready to leave. My Amazon order of Gatorade came in. It was an 8-pack so sinceI’m not gonna be going to Yoga for at least another week means it’ll last a while. Something my left check chest feels a little funny so I’m a little concerned about that. Hopefully, it’s just muscle aches and not beginnings of bad Covid shit but I think it’s muscle stuff cause I’m breathing fine and not coughing. Anyway, I forgot to mention that Labor Day today it’s a holiday a funky one that for me, Mary and Mike of course I have a doctors appointment Wednesday and Thursday and Mike has an appointment on Thursday with his primary. I have Dr. Nola a complaint about my shoulder. I have one Covid test remaining, which I will wait till at least Wednesday cause. I’m sure I’m gonna be positive if I tested tomorrow. I gave Marie her funny little gift and went to get some iced tea. My shoulder feel some kind of relief. I think not going to yoga class might be helping, but it remains to be seen because it’s still ever present. I can feel it when I hold my phone and that kind of stuff. Not sure what we’re gonna eat for dinner. I’m not terribly hungry right now. It’s only 5 o’clock.
