Saturday, February 20: Warm Day with Lots of Waiting

Getting Out Late
Good Saturday everyone. I got a text from Larry  at 8:30 and I was really really tired. This stems from yesterday when I was really tired as well.
Here Comes the 7 Bus
I managed to get up and catch the 7 and 125  bus. I then caught the EL to 2nd

Street. I met Larry at Old City Coffee & we mostly talked about what he was up to with this job

hunting. Going to 10 at 10:30, I found myself really really tired. And made it through.

On the way home I went to the photo lab see if I can pick up pictures. I then found out that Amy expected

me to come up and see her at 1 o'clock I did not know that. I was caught by surprise and I knew I was so tired

that I would not be able to come up. I took a nap for an hour and that really helped out. Eventually work myself to shower and also shaved. Sharon just awoke after she had canceled her 11 AM

appointment she was also tired but also she didn't feel well at all. I decided to take a pit stop at Luigi's Pizza Fresca. To relax and have a slice. I caught up on Thursdays and yesterday blog and fix them all up. I got today's blog started as well. It is now 4:13 PM I'm going to head out towards Center City and try to save my data from going over. That's
gonna be a tall order since I have about .8 gigs left in my
plan and there are 4 days left. It's a very

the last 2 days. I'm supposed to meet my friend at 6 PM at Starbucks. They have to do an errand they

Well I got to the photo lab Chad in and it up being closed. So I decided to take a leisurely stroll down Walnut. It was very pleasant since it was so nice and mild outside. Contrast that

with a week ago today when it was 9° outside. It is really nice and crowded on the streets. I do like to

and I decided to move out of the seat I've been in since it's a lot less crowded in here. I'm near the door facing Walnut Street instead of facing 16th St. Well it's 52° outside. Still pretty mild outside and I'm in a more comfortable chair or bench shall I say.

We could meet at Chili's at 12 and Filbert. Lo and behold it was close for renovations. We then

Feeling It

Walking down Broad Street towards South today was a pretty normal day I like it the fact that the woman who sits across at work and talks about her family on and on!!
So it's  really quiet on the most part. The  group was very intense & lasted a half hour longer than normal. Those are the best meetings as far as I am concerned.
Breakfast!
Some of the topics were as follows: finding your own voice, what a bottom is,  and  having someone tell you to stay away from them(Male/Female). One of the most bizarre and sad  was the woman who

shared that she was  at a club of some sort. While she was there having fun, she saw this
Taking a Pit Stop on South Street
dude wearing a T-shirt that referred to RAPE as SURPRISE SEX!!  That is f$#ked up thing to wear. Dude has a problem and it was pretty intense.
Its hot but I got a nice complement on one of my photos and my gratitude is flowing nicely. 2 friends went out to eat at a Middle Eastern place on South and then walked up to about 18th where we parted ways. I came home and installed my window air conditioner and now will shower and go to bed after listening to some Bob Dylan

Cool Breezy Sunday

Good morning it is sunny cold and windy out today I went to the satellite lounge to meet a friend after I finished up my blog about yesterday. I saw Mike Watson as well. It was cool and we had some laughs I walked from 50th and Baltimore to 44th and Baltimore where I caought the 34 trolley to 30th Street. I got the   EL  to 5th then the 57 to Bambridge .  We were to pick out fabric for my place.
Hair Cut
An Old Friend
I made it and met up with Drew. Drew met an older Ethiopian lady and looked at the fabric shops and they were ALL closed.  We went to Starbucks with Ethiopian woman in tow. I  registered my Starbucks card we hung out then for awhile since Drew was awaiting a visit from a friend. we walked up South Street and a woman from the consignment shop  said there was a place called Fleischmanns Fabrics which is open and sells fabric.
Mural on North 52nd Street
We browsed for 10 minutes and checked out the prices. It was going to get pricey and we could not really decide. Drew then  came up with a great idea!! The ideas was to let Dean pick out the fabric and pay
Friend from ICA
for it. We both really liked the idea. Drew will drop off the wire at my place Tuesday. We chilled in the

brilliant sun and then then went our separate ways.  Since I had a date in Ardmore, I went to the chop shop got my haircut and I caught  the 40 bus from sixth and Lombard to 42nd and Market which

is about a block from Pat's home. I  took some pictures of a baby sketch and then went home showered and shaved and took the bus to 69th St terminal and JUST missed the 105 bus. The next bus was at 6:00 so had to take a cab to be there on time to meet her.We had a nice dinner and she then had to go straight back home. I caught a 44 bus which ended at city line Avenue and now I got the 52 going to Market Street. I got the El then the trolley to 19th street and went to the Sunday night meeting.
