Saturday June 6: A Day in Ocean City NJ

Hi! After a glorious sleep and a really comfortable mattress, Mary and I woke up and it was about 9:45 AM in the morning. Larry and Coleen had been up since at least 7 AM. Coleen got up at 5 AM. They already ate something so Maryann and I decided after talking that we would walk to the boardwalk boardwalk and find someplace for coffee and buy a hat. Well, we found a place at coffee and breakfast pretty close by. I went to a place called Bob’s. It was very good. We’ve enjoyed it very much. It had a very comfortable vibe and good service very quick. We both had a breakfast I had asandwich and an iced coffee and Marriott hot coffee. After we left there, We went to a place in Mary found a hat to buy. It was a tourist place, but it was OK. She got a fairly reasonable price for the hat. One of the hat was 50 bucks. It was just a straw hat for the beach. We bet got back to Larry’s and then we packed up the car to head out to the beach. We used my car since it had a very large trunk. Yes, this Nissan rogue that we rented out a very large hatchback. I guess they don’t have trunks anymore in these SUVs. Anyhow, we got three chairs to umbrellas and headed to the beach. We then went roaming around for parking and we were very fortunate woman was pulling out of a parking spot and we held the spot and I got right in there. It wasn’t too far from the beach. There is a parking lot real close to the beach on 13th St. and it’s $30 per spot for the day. I think you can only stay there till five. It was packed. We got back from the beach by the way. Went to the beach and it was a little bit cloudy but there was enough sun to make it comfortable in a nice breeze. Mary and I then went walking and discussed Alaska and what we were bringing. We got back and I called Allison Alice said that Wes was more than welcome to come to the shore. The only thing was Wes has to call and Alice himself. We stayed to the beach till about 4:15 PM and headed back to Larry’s place to get cleaned up showered up and get my phone charged up since it was out of battery. Larry’s daughter does have a plug. The only problem with her plug is that it’s a slow charger and my phone couldn’t take it. We all think got showers and cleaned up and I had three of my bars that I brought with me. Thank God cause I was pretty hungry. We then went over to a place called the crab shack, which is a white person‘s paradise over at Summers point. Nearby the entrance some CD looking Motel, which is very funny and adjust position of how like family oriented. This restaurant is into people are teaming in here. People are teaming in. It’s a white person’s paradise I think we’re gonna go in soon at 6:15 PM. A whole bunch of food at the crab trap restaurant. Post for pictures and put up some Facebook post about our day here in Ocean City.. anyhow, we went through that meal pretty slowly, but we got through it. It wasn’t too bad. The seafood was pretty good and we decided that we we would go to the boardwalk. Coleen wanted to go home back to Larry‘s place cause she was tired. I think she wanted some peace. Also, she was up at 4 AM. Anyhow, went to the boardwalk and went to the custard place that Donna recommended for us to go and then we walked around looking for see if there’s any gym shorts for sale and they didn’t have any that I need for Yoga.
