This morning I woke up recovering from the revenge of Montezuma and I woke up. Felt pretty good. Got some weird text messages and anyway woke up
feeling refreshed ready to eat a normal breakfast. We found a place called the Alaska coffee bean. And it was perfect. Kind of place that we like.
So we found a place we can go to if there’s nothing in Cantwell, which is 48 miles away from here. It’s a much nicer day than yesterday the sun‘s out
partly cloudy but also most partly sunny as well. We enjoyed our bagel sandwiches. We hung out, watched highlights of the Phillies 14 to 9 comeback victory
against the Washington nationals. Then we ran to a large group mainly a family with three kids who were doing the same sort of thing to Alaska. They did
cross through Taquita for a minute and told us they had an awful meal at Latitude 62 where we stayed. I almost burst out laughing because they’re only
impression was a really bad meal at Latitude 62 so we told him all is great. you were a quarter mile away from the cute part. It’s not 1:18 PM we’re gonna
head out. This place is probably gonna be our go to spot for breakfast till we go to Anchorage. Well, we headed out and went to the post office and
got some free next day air envelopes for free and found out the coffee place. We went to, Alaska coffee bean is up for sale along with the cabins
next to it. They’re asking price is $1.3 million. After we walked from the post office, we stopped by the Three Bears Alaska store and and I went to get some
gas to fill up the tank because the only gas station in Cantwell was WAY overpriced. We found out they’re charging 6️⃣ bucks a gallon and most places
around 5️⃣ bucks a gallon. We drove down to the Cantwell Cabins. We walked around and we noticed there was one nobody there doors were left open.
The bar wasn’t finished that they said they would finish in last year‘s reviews that we read on their own Google reviews. We were able to walk in one room
where the bed was. I made like somebody split as soon as they can from the place the room look clean, but it was undone. We called the lady. She said
she was gonna be an hour and a half until she got there and then she would clean the room. Mary and I looked at each other and sat in the car and had
a very important strategy session. We decided that blow off the place and write her a letter on WhatsApp because that’s the only way you can send
her messages. We decided to go to Latitude 62 in to take Aetna, which is 22 hours closer to Anchorage. This would enable us to get a place we know about
and a place we like and save some driving when we have to go back to Anchorage in two days. We were a little disappointed in the place, but we had
to do what we had to do. We just couldn’t sit around and waiting in a town in the middle of nowhere for a lady to show up. So we drove down the driveway went
pretty smoothly beside the old slowdowns and road repairs. We arrived. We got room eight which is second furthest away from the bar. We were in room
10 couple days ago. So now we’re gonna have chicken at the restaurant blackened chicken the best kind of chicken I guess. Well, the chicken was
very good it Who is blackened chicken tasted very good. We enjoyed very much. Then we decided to take a walk around Taquita. We strolled
around and enjoyed the setting sun. It didn’t really set. We were out till about not 8:45 PM and we came in and watched some Phillies highlights again
came back to win a game with two hours and nobody on the top of the night against the nationals.
