Good afternoon who who are those who love afternoons. It’s a nice looking Friday afternoon at 2:30 PM here in Taquita Alaska. Mayor and I rested for
a
a while and then we went to our favorite breakfast place called consciousness coffee. It’s a very chill place and it wasn’t too crowded at all today. I
think we missed the morning rush so to speak. We had our Sunrise sandwich. They taste good evening in the afternoon.
I think we made the good choice to blow off Cantwell and the Cabins even though he did have to eat some money. Some things are just worth their weight in gold, etc.
after we hung out at the café for a while, we went strolling down the street and went to our favorite vintage clothing place and the woman named Willow
greeted us like are you guys gonna stay here. That was pretty funny. We strolled and I almost got a shirt, but it was too small. Mary got a jean jacket which
looks pretty cool and and we hung out and talked to her for a while. After we left there, we strolled a little bit more and decided we’d go to
the Takena historical Society. We hung out there for at least an hour and a half just talking to a nice woman who works behind the desk. She also owns her own coffee shop and
works for the DMV as a contractor. She’s very interesting and we learned a few things as well. I ended up getting a another sticker and a pin for my hat that
seems to be my thing now so buy little pins for them to put on my hat. After that, we decided we needed to get some water and we started talking
about laundry plans and how we’re gonna do laundry and have dinner so we stop by the Mountain high Pizza pie place. See you when it closed and
then we then we figured out let’s just go back to the house to shower. I also organized my dirty clothes, which I started getting a pile of and the
shower felt great when I finished. Then we drove to the laundromat got all the change and started the laundry. Then we went to Mountain high Pizza pie and there was a nice long line.
With 6:45 PM it’s a good thing we went. We did because the place closes at 8 PM and a bunch of people came behind us as well so when we get
settled, I’m going back to the laundromat and switch it into dry I mean the dryer. We decided to get a sausage and green pepper, which was just as good as the margarita pizza.
frankly We didn’t know we could just make our own pizza, but it doesn’t make sense. We out down on that pizza and it was delicious. Soon as I finish my drink,
we’re going to head over to the laundromat. At least I’m gonna go to the laundromat switch from the wash to the dryer. Meanwhile, we’re
sitting here at 7:20 PM and the lines out to the door. To the Mountain High Pizza Pie. when I went to the laundromat quickly switched my clothes to
the most available dryer, which was right behind me, which was nice. Put $2.75 in a way I went back to Mountain high Pizza pie where I hung out and
had the rest of my watery soda and hung out and saw that the Phillies had another nice comeback that we will watch later on YouTube. But this one guy I follow One threads let me know
it was happening right after it happened. Anyhow, meet Mary and I then walk back to the laundromat together and all the clothes were dry believe or not.
The dryer just finished. We got back to help. She folded my shirts up and I was able to fit all of them in two separate piles in the black bag so that really helped because we’re gonna be doing a lot of driving and traveling over the next three days and it’s good to have all my nine extra shirts well eight not counting the one that I’m giving to Alice but nine shirts I bought and that’s you know that adds a little bit of space but Mary took a shower and we’re gonna unwind and watch highlights of the Phillies game sing the songs of my people and then go to bed and get up because we have to check out. We can’t really sleep in tomorrow.
