Hi! Yeah, today is the day that’s been on been marked on my calendar for months June 9, 2026. We are heading out of our 5 week odyssey through California in Poway and Alaska. Before the odyssey begins, we had to do last-minute preparation by going to the pharmacy, paying a few bills, including my dermatologist around the corner. Mary picked up her dry cleaning. She gave me one of her T-shirts, which was really cool for her to do that. It’s a really nice day out here. It’s about 70° nice little breeze. It’s perfect as the weather was horrific and bogus. I love it that the Knicks lost because Trump showed up!! he’s a curse do the Knicks end to the United States!! We had a nice breakfast to café and talked about different things and looked at Threads, etc. It was quite enjoyable. Mary and I said enough and paid for the breakfast. We settled out the airfare for the trip to California. We’re doing on August 7 through the ninth to visit Shelley, her sister-in-law. It’s now 1234. We have to split from the café. Well, we split from the café and went to the CVS to pick up scripts and then went to my oral surgeon to pay his bill. Then got back and realized I left the funny painting that we bought from the framing store and I went to CVS to get it it wasn’t there then I walked back and then I called the oral surgeon they had so I had to walk back again. We then finally called Uber and God willing will get the airport by 2:30 PM. Go through TSA fairly quickly get on this flight and relax for five hours.I am really thirsty. I brought my iced tea bottle with me that was a third floor. I’m gonna drink the whole damn thing before I go through TSA because they don’t allow you liquids of course we went through TSA very quickly and smoothly and we had 25 minutes to spare and we just lifted off at 4:17 PM. I went through old emails that went all the way back to 2020. Anyhow, after I did all that email deleting the on flight Internet went wonky and stopped working off and on, so I just gave up on it. The flight seemed to last forever. I ended up looking stuff about Fairbanks in Alaska on Facebook. There are plenty of Trump loving G6 or types there as well, so that should be interesting but there’s also other political stripes as well. Anyway, we landed in San Diego around 6:30 and took a while to get off the plane and then I had to take care of mother nature so we’re gonna look for Alice. I picked us up around 7:15 PM. She was swimming. We got back and we went to Becky‘s favorite taco place in Ward. Some chicken burritos came back eight. Allison Becky retired so I was married, but I just stayed up and chow down slowly on that burrito, which was nice and filling also enjoyed her delicious ginger ale, which is absolutely delicious. If I can get a quick through Amazon, I can get some. It’s called fever tree ginger beer
