Sunday, January 4: Cold 🥶 Visiting Mom.

Good morning it’s another cold day here in the winter of 2026. I got up at 9:30 AM cause I didn’t feel like getting up any earlier. I then got dressed. Got my Monday yoga stuff together. Say goodbye to Mary &

decided to take an Uber so I could get back to my place have a bowl of cereal and head out the Riddle Village via the 111 bus. I did all that and At the bus stop to be picked up by Dave around 11:30 AM. 


Dave picked me up and he took a little while thank God I had my layers on. He has to be picking new committee people cause he’s resigning from leadership and the immediate Democrats. I 

mean the county Democrats. Anyhow, we went to Riddle Village and mom was already seated for lunch so we made a short visit said hello checked on her room. Dave and Deb eaten up the room and it looked

much better. David visited on Christmas Day, which is really nice. Dave and I then went for pizza and that was cool and then we immediately immediately had to leave and I stayed and hung out and finished off my food. I then realized down to 5% on my phone so I went to Media coffee

and had I mean Ocean City Coffee and charged up my phone and looked at threads and did Sunday stuff. It’s cold but not quite as bone numbing cold as yesterday in New York. It’s now 2:04 PM. 

Well, after I finished with the Ocean City Coffee, I went and caught the bus because they’re not running trolleys till May 2026. Anyway, I got back to 

my place and mellow it out for a while. I said hi to Pat he had to move his motorcycle, cause they’re doing some maintenance in the house or near his house. He then had to go back to work so I 

decided to make up some pasta dinner and that’s what I did. A nice quiet day was had. The Eagles lost to the commanders 24–17. They 

are the third seed they will be playing San Francisco in the wildcard.
