This morning I ended up sleeping until 9:30 AM because my alarm wasn’t set but that’s fine. I used to sleep well I think. My back didn’t quite hurt as much but I still was not able to sleep on my left 
shoulder at all. I did try to do that once. I decided I would take Lyft to my to Mike’s place because it was cold and I was running super late. I took the wait and save 
and boy they did make me wait. They are charging higher rates because of the traffic closures due to the mummers parade. The guy eventually picked me up and he’s a very nice man driving a Tesla. 
Anyway, he dropped me off a half a block away from Mike’s because the streets are closed at 15th. I got the Mike’s through a few things out and lo and behold. His monitor started to work 
again so that’s really good. It’s almost like a New Year’s miracle. I decided I would leave Mike’s and head over to Mary’s, but I decided to walk down Broad Street and get a quick look at the mummers parade. 
It just started and they’re doing the I think the comics where they wear goofy stuff. So it was fun to listen to that for a little bit my God it’s very cold today. It’s at least sunny and it’s not windy thank God 
for that. It’s now 11:11 AM. I’m gonna go to the Montreal spread bagel and give her a report. how crowded it is. Well, Mary didn’t answer the phone so I went ahead. Got two iced tea and my Pepsi‘s at the 
corner store. I decided that I wouldn’t wake her up cause she obviously needs to sleep. I didn’t know what to do with myself so I looked up an AA meeting. There’s one at the ethical Society at 12:15. I decided 
to go back to Montreal spread bagel at least got a coffee. I also had another banana to keep my stomach happy. It’s now 11:39 AM. Well, it’s not 12:07 PM. Mary woke up and decided she wanted to order a 
bagel so she got a special and I got it egg white they didn’t have any egg whites so regular old eggs. I don’t know what that means but I went with it. So I’m sitting here next to a bunch of young people talking 
about what they’re gonna name their kids it’s really weird. Anyway I guess I’m not going to the meeting because that starts at 12:15 And the people planning for their pregnancies have about 10 people
ordering stuff right now so I’m just gonna hang out and finish this blog or at least this part of it. Yeah, my shoulder starting to kick it in here but family planning is going on to the left of me and I’m just sipping
my coffee. I think the big order next to me is finished so I should be ready in about five minutes or so. Well, due to the sustaining 30 mile an hour gust out there in the cold temperatures for safety concerns. The Mummers string band competition was postponed. It’s kind of sucks because who’s gonna go out on January 7 or 14th to go see the string bands after that the New Year’s mood is gone.
