This morning I got up at 8:30 AM and Mary gave me half of her bagel sandwich she had in the refrigerator. That was nice of her. Did the
up and ready to face my day. I decided to do an Uber to get me home quicker. It was a nine minute wait which was fine because gave me time to brush my teeth and
are 3 to 4 minutes. I was glad the price wasn’t higher considering the weather was iffy at Best. I got
them away. The cleaning lady came over and did a nice job and
with me today, so the bus was in order. When not by the time I got off the bus it was a torrential
they were two dollars each and just dried out a little bit as well. I got to mom‘s place about 🔟 minutes
recuperating from her operation. She had a month and a half ago. After we chatted with mom,
Dave and I went to a pizza place and I treated him and I took two pizzas 2️⃣ pizza slices and we
to Upper Darby. I’m hoping the rain will hold off long enough so I can walk home without getting soaked
it’s very damp out here. Well, I got home. Unwound picked up my grocery stuff from Amazon and hung out.
It was very quiet. I was relaxing. I was about to do laundry and then all of a sudden the
electricity went off went back on and then permanently went off. I’d let my phone
run out of batteries and none of my portable Batteries I bought work or I can’t find the connector so I
decided to walk towards Upper Darby thinking they might have an a separate power and they do
fortunately so I went to a convenience
store charged it till 11% and got booted out. Before I left, I bought a multipurpose lighter so I can light the oven because I have feeling the power’s gonna be out for a while and I want to cook up some
yummy pasta which doesn’t take too music
refrigeration. I do have drinks in there and yogurt and I know itrule a thumb on a power outage
is not to open the refrigerator. I then went to 69th St. terminal hoping to find him empty charger and I did
manage to find one. It’s now 6:01 PM and I’m up to 29%. It’s now
7:22 PM I’m at 94% battery. I decided to leave the Upper Darby 69th St. terminal in Upper Darby
and head back and hope and pray that the power is back cause my feet started getting cold. And I just got a newsflash of 300 flights
so it’s a good thing I wasn’t flying anywhere today so I’m hoping the power is back. I got back home in about 8:15 PM. The power did
come back so that was a great relief. I was able to enjoy my dinner and take a nice shower. Nice hot shower that I needed. I then organize my yoga clothes in my backpack. Tomorrow morning
I’ll have to organize my food that I’ll be bringing to Mike’s for my food supply.
