Hello everybody, I got up and then with the Mike’s. First a guy from the agency came in to check on him and then Tony came by and while Tony was here, Mike got a delivery of a wheelchair. It came from the Medicaid woman who overseespayments to my agency to work.
Anyhow, I felt a little funky today not completely myself. My shoulder was sore. I didn’t sleep all that soundly either quite frankly. Probably should’ve taken that Advil. Anyhow Mike and I talked to Mary about his wheelchair and stuff.
He’s going to use his wheelchair as his regular Chair since it’s a little higher up and you can get up easier. I was on the Internet and TikTok journey and it was great seeing all the Mets fan wine moaning about the Met sucking after they were
swept in a 4️⃣ game series. Anyhow, Mike wanted some drinks so I went to the CVS and he also has a prescription for this blood thinner called Eliquis, which reminds me of Equis the horse so you can’t tell what these drugs are called by
the name. It’s pretty humid outside. I feel kind of blah. Talk to Mary and we both decide we weren’t going to Yoga cause Mary is feeling tired and frankly, I’m tired too, so it’s probably a good idea to skip it today. Remnants of
Covid hanging around like a like a bad suit. I’m right now sitting in what I called a weird empty corner across from CVS. There’s a big vent and there’s just somewhere to sit and I’ve seen oddballs hang out in this corner, so I called
the crazy corner at 15th and Spuce. Call 714 4:18 PM I’m just heading into the Dorchester. I’m pretty tired but I walked through and it was pretty humid out there. I’m gonna relax for a little bit before going to this concert. I have a feeling that it’s gonna tire us
out because it’s gonna be all crowded and shit and I haven’t been to a crowded concert in quite some time. I think I’m gonna take a nap now. After our nap, we decided we would eat veggie burgers before going to the concert to see Ray LaMontagne. The burgers were good
and we took an Uber and while the Uber driver was a bit goofy and took us to the side entrance. When we got out from the automobile, we saw about 20 people getting this lingering
around we found out the show is next September 12, 2026 not September 12, 2025! So They weren’t very clear about that that he would postpone his concert a full year because of “oral surgery” I looked it up and it came up on
Facebook and then I went to the website and yep it’s next year. That is the goofiest thing I’ve ever witnessed! so anyway, we went up for a minute Avenue walked around and looked at different sites on famine Avenue in North Broad
Street and then we caught the two bus back to Mary’s where we nibbled on a little bit of food and watch some too law and order episodes. And ended up being fine evening. But it’s just funny at the concert being canceled. We
have tickets that we have to save until next year a year from now. I never had that happen before in any kind of concert event of any sort. Was an
interesting Friday evening 4 sure!
