Hi. Mary & I set the alarm for 4 AM and kept the shoes button but we did get ready have coffee that you brought yesterday
the only thing open to get a sandwich. Mary waited in line and I got the sandwich. I was lucky to get the sandwich because it was a weird
some people use the kiosk. Once I got in line hurt some young people talk about a podcastand I said to myself that’s a acute word
I looked it up as usual and we got on the train and we’re headed to New York. It’s now 6:49 AM. Well, we arrived at Manhattan’s very
crowded, but we were easily able to find our own seats. We decided to go to the 911 museum in lower Manhattan and took the 1️⃣ train
down to lower Manhattan and took a lot of pictures. It was overcast so it really added some drama to the pictures of the 911 memorial.
We decided to skip the museum since it was $35 each and we want to spend that money at MOMA. We then
went through
Greenwich Village in the West Village Chelsea and now as of 1135 were in the high line. I
was really lucky. I found an outlet in the public bathroom here and it
works too. I was down to nothing so I’m just getting up to 20%. We ended up
walking the entire length of the highline. That was pretty long. We
then ran as a 34th St. and walked all the way up 34th St. to seventh Street. My
phone then died again and we walked all the way up to 34th St. from
like 12th or 13th And at that point we were right here the train station.
a ride to Uber guy came pretty quickly and we saved 12 to 15 bucks by walking
out and it was blazing hot. We went to the MOMA we paid our fair and then we decided we would go to the café and
mood for coffee or an iced coffee at this point. It’s now 1:55 PM and I found I found a charger on the
in the corner. We’re just hanging out. We decided that we wouldn’t
and we’re gonna be in this museum for at least an hour and it’s just not going to work so we will try that
happen in the fall Who knows. As you all know New York is a very large place. I’m so glad I got to show Mary the 911 memorial that was pretty cool and as I said
before, it was very cloudy so it gave a very somber effect on the photographs that we took.I know tomorrow
my mom’s and then crash for the rest of the day cause I know I’m going to be completely Wiped out. It’s fun, but we did a
got up at 4:30 in the morning. A few things I wanna add. First of all while we were walking down the highline we saw it had to be the ugliest building that I’ve seen in New York. It looks like
1963 that hasn’t been renovated. I asked about the building and I
was built in 2009. I have a picture of it in this blog And it is got to be the ugliest
motherfucking building I’ve ever seen I wouldn’t pay more than $100 a night to stay at this trashy place but they probably charge at
least $450 for this. Also, the MOMA was great. That place is so large you can easily spend five hours in there. We spend about an hour
and a half,
and we basically did Only two floors. There’s at least 6️⃣ floors in the building
foundation like Cezone and Renoir, etc. also they had a film called a trip to the
moon. That was really trippy. It was made in 1907 I believe. It is
really bizarre yet. Funny film about these guys launching in a rocket ship and going
straight to the moon. With some fantastical vision whatever
you like to land on the moon. The most funky part is when they had the rocket ship
hit the moon in the face and back in the
day people would say that the moon was made out of cheese. Mary and I definitely wanna go back to Manhattan. I think we’re gonna try to hit Broad channel
we really wanna check it out. It’s like a little middle of nowhere part of New York City it’s hard to believe it exist in New York City. So both of us are really intrigued by that so we’ll have to do another trip. Maybe we should stay overnight. I’m not sure cause we’re planning a trip to Cozumel Mexico with Hot Yoga , Philadelphia and that’s gonna cost a nice pretty penny so I think the money should go there perhaps instead. Anyhow, we got a break with the weather going to New York. It was warm, but it is July so you would expect it to be warm outside. 🫕
