Friday, July 25: Wedding Prep

Hi! Today is Friday all day long. The first event of the wedding is today.  We got up and had a breakfast of barley pancakes. The house made for us. They 

were very good. & very filling. After that, Mary house and I hung up pictures on Alice‘s wall and I went pretty smoothly than Marguerite and Paul

 came by. They’re staying in a hotel nearby and Maryann and I figured this would be a good time to go to target. I realized I need pants chinos I think and 

a dress shirt and chinos I did not pack enough as usual. We also are going to get 30 to 40 gold utensils for the party. 🎉 We walk down towards the target and Mary checked in to get a manicure

 and they had an opening so I said to Mary take it so I’m gonna sit here at the Starbucks and catch up on my Blogging and maybe make a phone call. 
I’m drinking my coffee there’s a woman right across 

doing some multilevel marketing or something anyway Trump wants

 to move homeless people to “treatment centers.” Basically institutionalized

 people again like they did 40s 50s and 60s and into the 70s you know infamous 

places like Penhurst that my two brothers stating and got mouth treated let’s put it that way. I end up getting one shirt, sandals, and a pair of Ginos. We walked back from the target. I drank an iced tea and then we came back to house


 and did a little bit of stuff and then we talked about the 4 to 6 PM welcome drinks thing at thewinery on University Avenue. I 

decided I needed a quick shower because I just started feeling really sweaty
 and kind of gross. It’s not 3:43 PM. We’re leaving at about 4 o’clock. 

We’re gonna have something to go to eat before we get there which is a really good idea that I came up with. Well, I didn’t know we got out later and we thought we skipped the drive-through



 order. It went straight to this place a wine bar place on University Avenue in San Diego, where we ran into the entire family that’s coming everyone but

 Mike David, John, Yakari, Marguerite, Phil, Alex, and of course Alice‘s kids were all there as well. There was a nice little place and we ran into a really nice 



couple that travels a lot. They have a one-year-old three year-old and live in Miami now, but are gonna move to Spain on some 

kind of digital nomad visa For outpace nuts. And then after all that Alice left her phone and I met up with Alice again before the wedding rehearsal dinner. The 

rest of us are eating in a place called   R Place It serves Mexican and other types of food so it is now 7:17 PM andwe’re going get ready to have guacamole dip and we’re sitting next. Mary and

 I are sitting next to John & yukari. I had the “big ass burrito.“ That thing was ginormous. I meant to eat the whole thing

 and we all hung out and talked for a while. It was quite festive. It was a good place to go and it was right 
next to the other place where the wine was served. We were the last ones in there cause we’re waiting for Alice. She went to the wedding party rehearsal and 
rehearsal dinner. After you’re finished eating, Alice took an Uber in me and we ended up walking a block past the car we somehow forgot where the car was parked for a little while that was pretty funny. Alice asked me to drive her car because she had a half a drink and she didn’t

 feel right and driving. That car that Subaru drives really solid. It was a real test We got back and well House Didn’t have time to do the prepping tonight so she’s going to 
have to do it tomorrow. We’re gonna get up at 10 o’clock tomorrow morning. So far no eventful action from Mike, which is always a relief.
