Sunday, November 24: Visit Mom and Do Stuff

Today I woke up around 8:31 AM and had breakfast over at the Dorchester. Hung out with Mary for a little bit and then headed on out. I just thought that I better just go straight to My mom’s place and so I went to my house dropped off dirty yoga clothes got some supplies and then my brother contacted me and he’s going to meet

me there at 11:30 AM. I don’t know what we’re doing, but I think we might be going out to lunch because David called the place. I caught the 110 bus in time and is now 1102 and

we’re rolling along. I arrived at the Riddle Village at 11:30. I always

forget how long it takes to walk from where the bus is to the actual Riddle village

but I got here and I just contacted Dave so I don’t know whether

we’re going after lunch or not but I’ll find out soon enough. Dave came over And

we were decided to eat at the restaurant that’s located downstairs

on the first floor. Both of us got omelettes and we got mom breakfast at this place

where you make a reservation. Dave_ took care of that. It’s

now 12:09 PM and I’m waiting for my omelette to be cooked up. Set this rate I probably will not be home till at
least 3:30 PM. well, we got through the

lunch pretty good. It was a nice little place to eat and it was right downstairs for where my mom lives. We didn’t have to go outside. I had an omelette. Dave

had an omelette. Mom had scrambled eggs. I thought for a minute of doing a 4 o’clock class, but I need a break so I’m not going to do that.

After lunch, Dave drop me off near State Street so I can catch the

trolley in 10 minutes. Well, the trolley did show up and I’m gonna head

to 69th St. and catch the EL and from there head on down to Mike’s.

Well, I did head down to Mike’s and good thing I did because the 18-year-old who’s

coming in to see him on Sundays did a half job. He did make Mike’s bad

according to Mike and he did sweep up but he left a pile of stuff that he swept up

and the dishes were all sitting there all dirty. So I just cleaned
up after them, hung out with Mike for a little bit and gave back his cards. Afterward I wobbled down Broad Street and eventually call TL back home and I felt really tired so I decided

I would just eat do laundry etc. Alice called and we had to make a decision on what we’re gonna eat for Thanksgiving. She suggested $175 per head meal and then we

went bantered back-and-forth about cooking or something so we Alice came up with the idea that we would order from Amazon pick it up and eat the food. It’s like $200 worth of food which will last us way past Thanksgiving day

into the rest of the time I’m in California. I then finally got my laundry done and made final decisions on what I was packing. It’s now 9:37 PM just got

off the EL 15th Market and I’m hopefully gonna catch a bus at Walnut Street. Otherwise I’ll just walk up to Mary’s. I got lucky and I caught
a bus that was a cruise that bus in 19th St. and get to Mary’s. We then

watched the Eagles smash the Ranch 37 to 20. Saquon Barkley

had a total of got 255 yards rushing. This is the highest single game performance in Eagles history. LaShawn McCoy had the record previous record during the Eagles game versus the Detroit Lions back in  December 2013 in the snow bowl.
