Wednesday June 4: PT Appt. Pride Concert 😮

Well, I slept through the night on the easy chair which is two nights in a row. I slept without interruption, so that’s some room for encouragement. I had to get up and get moving because I had to

sign in for Mike and then run over to good Shepherd PT at 18th and Lombard and be there by 8:45 AM. So I managed to accomplish both of those things. The physical therapist saw me about 9:10 AM after

finishing up with someone else. She asked some questions and help me do some movement. The conclusion was I have some degenerative thing in my neck and
I have

weakened muscle muscles on the right side in which my left side is compensating for. She stated that the MRI probably wouldn’t show anything. She gave
me three exercise to do 3 to 4.

times a day They’re not difficult, but I have to do them.In other words, this is gonna be a long ongoing thing for a long time. I have a feeling I didn’t know I was. My muscles were weakened on the side. I never felt

that before. Speaking of the MRI, the insurance company has informally approved
it yet so I’ve been back-and-forth with the doctor/Jefferson. Probably I will
not be going to the MRI tomorrow night as previously scheduled I reported to the choir rehearsal at the Kimmel Center at 1:30 PM
and we’re in the midst of going up to the main

section to stand up and sing. It’s now 2:35 PM. We sang in the basement
and then we moved up to the orchestra level. We are rehearsing with the
orchestra at this time. I think Wes’s going to be showing up to the pride concert, but I’m not absolutely

sure. Yeah, running through all the songs for the Orchestra. We are singing just  4️⃣ songs. After the

rehearsal I ended up just talking on the phone with Donna and hang out in South

Broad Street not knowing what to do with myself really so I started to stay close to Mike so I could get

something to drink eventually that’s what I did. Mike’s little frustrated with this whole oxygen tank debacle, had to deal with where they pushed these heavy duty oxygen

tanks on them. I’m not in pain, but my whole upper side of my body feels damaged. Thank God, the
pain isn’t shooting, but this thing ain’t going to go away real quick and I’ve already

dealt with it for a full month as it is pain in my ass. It’s 6:25 PM and we’re down in the practice room downstairs everybody’s wearing red and green

practically with a few oranges and yellows throw in there for a good measure. My

shoulder left shoulder is ever present in my thoughts. So it’ll   be Mary and I going To eat. I’m really tired,

but I guess I’m gonna feel this way for the foreseeable future I reckon. Anyhow, I

just decided to bring all the stuff I had and stuff in my pocket

and I brought my baseball cap because I don’t think I wanna deal with going to the

dressing room. I don’t know. I should’ve left it at Mike’s anyhow I’m

very hungry. I’m very tired, but the show must go on. I got to see Mary sitting six rows back in the front. And I got the wave at her and stuff. It was pretty cool. I must say  She gave me an idea of seeing

Linda for a special Yoga class to get myself back into it and help me out mentally. But the concert came off without a hitch Martha graham cracker a drag
celebrity of Philadelphia came out and they announced the funding cuts from the NEA and there was a round of booze as deserved. It went fine and Mary and I are gonna go eat. We took a walk & went to

Royal and picked up food and we picked up iced tea and came back and watched two episodes of Law and order
