Friday, January 31: 1st Day in Florida

After a wonderful sleep last night, we got up and had cereal and some delicious coffee. I also had a super coffee. I could’ve slept till 12 noon 
but for sure
 we set the alarm so we got it at a decent hour. Larry then took us to ManateeCove near

 the power plant. We got to see the manatees up close. It was really cool. We think 

got some swag. I’m starting another Christmas gift collection. We went to downtown West Palm Beach and then picked up Veronica from her job. We’re gonna go and eat at a Mexican  place 

for lunch. I’m really really hungry. Well, that food was absolutely delicious. I had a burrito and ate part of Mary’s burrito as welland it hit the spot thoroughly. Then we drove 

all talked about the cost of living in Florida and West Palm Beach. I also compared it to the cost of living in Philadelphia.The restaurants that went to the prices have been 

overall a little bit cheaper, but Veronica explained home insurance is hard to get and the cost of housing here is very high. It’s now 2:07 PM. We just got back to Larry’s and I’m gonna

 relax and maybe have another coffee because why not. It’s good to experience nice warm weather and break from their routine every so often. We’re gonna be visiting Fort 

Lauderdale taking the car taxi over there once we get to Fort Lauderdale. 

It’s called water taxi and we did the Fort Lauderdale route. There’s also ones for 

Hollywood Florida and some other places. It’s about $38 for everyone 

except for Seniors which is $33. We just bought the tickets workers gonna sit 

and chill and Veronica and I are going to make some movies together as we usually do when I’m down here. It’s not 2:45 PM. We chilled out at Larry‘s house. Veronica 

and I made a couple of short videos for the entering future contest. They were short very easy to produce so I’m looking forward to getting them on YouTube eventually

 it’s now 4:00 PM and we’re all hanging out Larry’s taking a napand I 

had a super coffee and that was tasty. Jesus H Christ Trump‘s going to 

be instituting 10% tariffs on China 25% tariffs on Canada & Mexico and they

 are our allies. What the actual hell and I heard stock markets are crashing down 

due to this bull crap. 💩 anyhow, it’s almost 5 o’clock and we’re 

all gonna go out to eat at this place called Reiki Tiki Bar. I’ve been there before that they

 have music there and it’s outdoors so just getting dressed 

into warmer gear cause it does get a little cooler at night. We’re eating or really

 like old people too, but that’ll be fine cause we’re getting up early to go to Fort Lauderdale. The owner of the Reiki Tiki Bar allowed 
us to sit in his 
1963 Ford Thunderbird, which was really a thrill. We  left Riviera Beach with the 

Northwood Village. We went to a record store,a  Café and some art

 calories. It was pretty cool really enjoyed ourselves. Realize that they made a record of Joni Mitchell’s Hejira album into outtakes. Or it’s just her singing with no compliment I think that’s how it is. We look some stuff up on 

the Internet and I shared it. Shared it with a couple people Wes and his 

friends, etc. then I find out about a small plane crash @ the Northeast  Philadelphia Airport. They said 

there were 6️⃣ people on the plane and it crashed near the Roosevelt Mall. I think
 they said. It happened around 630 Eastern time. Jesus it didn’t take much



 for shit to really hit the fan after only about 10 days of our orange menace

 to take over the government. I mean, what the hell.Anyhow, it’s 8:39 PM. Larry

 wants to watch a movie Veronica’s out for a walk and I’m going to take

 a shower cause we’re gonna get up early and go up to Fort Lauderdale as I said

 before. I’ve been in touch with Wes and a friend from my old job 

talking about her service as a shop steward . That’s been interesting. Anyhow,
 it’s going to be a bumpy ride for the United States of America in 2025!! It’s really nice to have a nice warm weather. It’s

 really appreciated
when it’s February and you get to get out actually it’s not February today’s

 the last day of January. It was a fun and exciting day to be in Florida land up alligators manatees 

and Governor Ron DeSantis or as Orange menace with Colin Ron cement sanctimonious. And life is very interesting these days. We don’t want it to be this interesting but we’re kind of stuck in a cycle of dumbasses.
